Longtime NFL assistant John Teerlinck passed away over the weekend at age 69. Teerlink spent a decade with the Colts and also worked with the Browns, Rams, Vikings, Lions and Broncos.

Shorter (D-II - GA): Shorter University is seeking applicants for a defensive line graduate assistant coaching position. Responsibilities include coaching a position, managing a recruiting territory, coordinating on-campus visits, Hudl video, scouting reports/breakdowns and other duties assigned by the head coach and defensive coordinator. Position includes 100% tuition waiver for the Master’s program of your choosing (which is an exclusively online program), and a full meal plan. There is no stipend for this position. There will be the opportunity for additional income available. On campus housing is not available. Admission to the Shorter University Graduate School (minimum GPA of 2.5) is required. Playing and/or coaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred. Position must start no later than July 15, 2020. Shorter University is a private Baptist university in Rome, Georgia. Western Michigan: Athletic director Kathy Beauregard and football coach Tim Lester are among the coaches and staff at WMU taking voluntary 25% pay cuts in light of the impact of COVID-19.

Duties will include film breakdown, self-scout, game-analysis, recruiting and any other responsibilities assigned by the Head Coach or Coordinators. Interested in being part of the fast pace world of college football and help compete for championships, then this position is for you. These positions are a great pathway to becoming full-time college assistant coaches. These are unpaid positions with an opportunity to learn & to be part of a college football staff. Oklahoma State: Oklahoma State football is hiring a full-time graphic designer strictly focused on recruiting. This position will assist the football creative services department providing content and resources for the coaching staff and the recruiting office. Florida Tech (D-II): The Panthers, one of just two D-II programs in the state, have announced that due to COVID-19, are shutting down their football program.

West Virginia: AD Shane Lyons will take a 10 percent pay cut for the next fiscal year, head coach Neal Brown will join other head coaches in taking a 10 percent cut starting July 1, and coaches and staff earning more than $100,000 will take 5 percent cuts, while those under $100,000 will take 2.5 percent cuts. Sixty-five Mountaineer employees will take 60-day furloughs beginning May 24.

Western Michigan: Head coach Tim Lester, along with WMU hockey coach Andy Murray and AD Kathy Beauregard, have volunteered to take 25 percent pay cuts. Lester made $800,000 in 2019.

Assumption College (D-II - MA): Interim AD Christine Lowthert has been named the Greyhounds' full-time AD.

Carleton College (D-III - MN): Source tells FootballScoop Franklin Pierce offensive coordinator Bob Davies has accepted the same position at Carleton College. Davies, 24, has previous stops at St. Lawrence and Princeton.
