NIL: On the third anniversary of the NIL era in college sports, the firm Opendorse has released a report that puts some numbers, charts and figures on the money flowing through the system

Hawaii: Nick Locher, who joined the staff last year as a graduate assistant, has been announced as the new safeties coach. Before joining the Hawaii staff he has stops as a graduate assistant at Western Kentucky and secondary / safeties coach at Valdosta HS (GA).

UAB: Matt McCants, a Blazer alumnus who was drafted in 2012, has been announced as the new offensive line coach. McCants spent the last several seasons with the program, starting as a volunteer assistant in 2021, a strength and conditioning coach in 2022, and director of character development last season.

Bryant (FCS - RI): Bryant University has an immediate opening for a Defensive Quality Control Position. This is a volunteer position with no housing or benefits. There is the possibility of a stipend working in conjunction with the equipment room. Local applicants are encouraged to apply. This is an entry level position designed for highly motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and an interest in gaining direct work experience at the FCS Level. Ideal candidates must be highly organized, proficient in XOS, Microsoft Excel, Visio, and other computer skills. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: video upload and editing, opponent film breakdown, opponent reports, creating weekly defensive scouting reports using Visio, assisting with recruiting, tracking recruiting activity, and any other responsibilities assigned by the Head Coach. Candidates must be able to start working as soon as possible. Previous experience coaching or playing is preferred. Tusculum (D-II - TN): Tusculum University has an immediate opening for a defensive graduate assistant coach. Primary responsibilities include film breakdowns, practice preparation, assist position coach working with a specific position and helping with recruiting. Compensation includes Full Tuition for masters degree, campus housing and meals. Ottawa University (NAIA - AZ): Javon Washington has accepted the linebackers job at OUAZ. He previously served as defensive line coach / run game coordinator at Rocky Mountain College (NAIA - MT).

New York Jets: Antonio Cromartie has accepted a Bill Walsh internship with the Jets for fall camp. Cromartie played for the Jets from 2010-2013 before returning for the 2015 season.

Point University (NAIA - GA): Point University, located in West Point, GA on the GA/AL Border (20 mins to LaGrange, 25 mins to Auburn) is looking for a full-time WR Intern Coach. Compensation will be paid over 10 months ($15-16k Total) with additional opportunities to earn in the Summer. No housing or benefits, but some meals provided. Candidate will be responsible for managing the WR room, maintaining a recruiting area, with multiple secondary duties also available. Start date will be July 18th, 2024. Louisiana Christian (NAIA): Louisiana Christian University is accepting application for a Defensive Line coach. This is a full-time position, $30,000 with benefits. Does not have to have previous defensive line playing experience but needs to have experience coaching on the defensive side of the ball. Candidates are responsible for coaching the DL position group, assisting in Special Teams, recruiting the greater New Orleans area, along with other duties assigned by the Head Coach. Start date is as soon as possible. We can provide free housing for the month of July in the transition. Bachelor's degree required. Anna Maria (D-III - MA): Anna Maria College is seeking TWO Defensive Assistant Football Coaches. Looking for highly motivated individuals who are looking to run their own room. The position responsibilities include coaching your own position group, game planning, film breakdown, practice prep, recruiting, and duties as assigned. The first of these hires will include a stipend of $4,500 with housing, meal plan, and (2) free courses if interested. The second hire will receive a stipend of $5,000 but does not receive housing or meal plan. Looking to review candidates and hire as soon as possible. Mercer University (FCS - GA): Mercer is seeking interested applicants for the Director of Football Equipment position. This position is in charge of all aspects of equipment operations within the football program. This is a salary position with benefits. VMI (FCS): Virginia Military Institute is looking for a VOLUNTEER quality control (QC) coach. The QC position will assist with managing position groups, assisting with the weekly game plan, recruiting, running drills during practice, film breakdown, and game plan preparations. Faulkner (D-III - AL): Faulkner University is seeking applicants for an Assistant Football Coach / Offensive Line. The ideal candidate would have prior experience coaching or playing offensive line, but all interested applicants are encouraged to apply. This is a full-time salaried position. Duties include running the OL room, scouting reports, managing a recruiting area, along with assigned duties from the Offensive Coordinator and Head Coach. Victor Valley (JC - CA): VVC is seeking Volunteer Coaches on the defensive side of the ball at any position. Although it is not required it is preferred that the candidates have experience coaching or playing at that position. This is a VOLUNTEER Coaching position with no housing, meals, or benefits. St. Thomas Aquinas College (Sprint-NY): St. Thomas Aquinas College has two openings one on offense and defense for Quality Control positions. These are strictly volunteer with no housing and some meals. If you are looking for a career in college coaching this is the opportunity you are looking for. This position will have you breaking down film, preparing scouting reports, scout team preparation, set up drills and work along with any position coach that you chose. Georgia Military (JC): Georgia Military College JUCO, located in Milledgeville, GA, is seeking a Defensive Position Coach, preferably someone who can work with the LB’s. The position includes a small stipend with housing and occasional meals.
