Briar Cliff (NAIA - IA): Briar Cliff is seeking a graduate assistant to coach on offense. This position is responsible for developing our student-athletes on and off the field, coaching your own position group, assisting with special teams, and having your own recruiting area. Must be accepted into one of our graduate programs (3.0 minimum GPA). The compensation package includes a $5,000 stipend, full tuition waiver, and potential additional camp money. Butler (FCS - IN): Purdue senior defensive analyst Preston Gordon has joined the program as run game coordinator / defensive line coach.
East Central (JC - MS): East Central Community College, Decatur, MS is seeking applications to fill a restricted earnings wide receiver coach position. Candidate will be responsible for coaching his own position and other duties on campus as assigned by Head Coach. This is a 10-month position that includes Free housing and free meals. Lawrence Tech (NAIA - MI): Head coach Scott Merchant has stepped down after one season and offensive coordinator Oscar Olejniczak has been tabbed as the new leader of the program. Olejniczak has previous experience at Michigan State, Wayne State and Campbell (FCS - NC) as well as a Michigan high school football coach at UD-Jesuit (MI) and Royal Oak Shrine (MI).
Winona State (D-II - MN): Winona State University is looking to hire a Defensive Assistant Coach, position flexible, with the opportunity to coach your own position and recruit your own area. This is a restricted earnings position providing $10,000 per year plus camps, partial tuition waiver, and reduced housing. Review of this position will occur immediately. Wisconsin: The Badgers have now formally announced the appointment of Marcus Sedberry as their new GM.
Texas State: Cory Hogue shares that Murray State (FCS) safeties coach Jordan Moore will be the new recruiting coordinator for the Bobcats.
Oregon State: The program has announced three new graduate assistants in Trevon Bradford (offensive GA), Adam Klein (offensive GA), and Nick Pickett (defensive GA). Bradford worked in the recruiting office for the Beavers, while Klein was a graduate assistant at Temple and Pickett arrives after a career where he played 45 games at Oregon. Also, former Southern Miss outside linebackers coach Mark Criner has joined the staff as a quality control coach on defense, and former UCLA graduate assistant Mikey Jacobsen is with the team in an offensive quality control role.
Bowling Green: Miami analyst David Cooney is expected to be the new receivers coach for the Falcons, per CBS Sports. The report adds he will also serve as pass game coordinator. Cooney has spent the past two seasons as an analyst working with the receivers and previously was director of recruiting for three seasons.
UAB: Following the departure of CJ Cox to Coastal Carolina, sources tell FootballScoop UBA will move Brent Vieselmeyer to secondary coach / pass game coordinator and the Blazers currently have an opening at linebackers / nickels coach.
Houston: Judson Hunter has joined the Coogs and will assist with special teams. He was previously at Austin Peay (FCS - TN) as special teams / specialists coach.
Tulane: Colton Leggett has been announced as defensive recruiting specialist and Keith Domino as an offensive recruiting specialist.
Illinois: Assistant outside linebackers coach Trent Harris has been elevated to outside linebackers coach, where he will work alongside Alex Panos in leading the group.
Hamilton TigerCats (CFL): Former Colgate (FCS - NY) offensive line coach Brendan Walsh has accepted the offensive line job, per source.
West Georgia (FCS): Na'Shan Goddard has accepted the offensive line job after seven seasons on staff at South Carolina State (FCS).
USC: The Trojans are beefing up their personnel department with the hire of Logan Snead, the son of Rams GM Les Snead, sources tell FootballScoop.
Kansas State: Luke Wells has been hired as the new tight ends coach for the Wildcats. Wells most recently coached at Tulsa in 2022 and has also coached receivers and tight ends in the Big 12 with stops at Texas Tech and Iowa State previously.
Wisconsin: Marcus Sedberry, who has spent the past three years as deputy AD / COO for the Badgers, is set to become the team's new GM, per ESPN.
Central Washington (D-II): Central Washington is looking for football games in 2026 & 2027. We are open to D2 and FCS games, home/away series, single year, multiple year and guarantee available. Looking for games in 2026 - Aug. 27th or 29th, Sept. 5th, Sept. 12th and 2027 Aug. 26th or 28th, Sept. 4th, Sept. 11th.
New Orleans Saints: Eagles assistant head coach / running backs coach Jemal Singleton has interviewed for the offensive coordinator job, per Adam Schefter.
Georgia State: After losing his defensive coordinator to the SEC, Dell McGee is pulling his replacement from a rival Sun Belt staff.
Auburn: Sources confirm director of recruiting Kenyatta Watson has decided to remain at Auburn despite pursuit from Notre Dame. 247 has reported the same.
Augustana (D-II - SD): Augustana is seeking qualified applicants for an wide receivers coach. This position is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the sport program as well as possible additional responsibilities as assigned within the athletic department. This is a full-time position with benefits, salary of $35,500. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. Preferred Qualifications: Previous high school or college coaching experience. Northwestern Oklahoma State (D-II): Northwestern Oklahoma State is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time offensive assistant. The position will work with Offensive Line. You would be responsible for running your own meeting room, drills, film cut ups, and game planning. Duties will also include recruiting a specific area, and academic monitoring. Additional duties may be assigned by the head coach, offensive coordinator or the Director of Athletics. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, a valid driver’s license, and pass a back ground check. Strong communication skills and ability to recruit high academic and quality student-athletes is a must. Notre Dame: Former West Virginia assistant secondary coach Jevaughn Codlin is joining the Irish as an analyst, per 247.
Texas: After being pursued by an NFL team, Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns have awarded an extension and pay bump to head strength and conditioning coach Torre Becton, Anwar Richardson shares. Becton won the 2024 FootballScoop Strength Coach of the Year award, as chosen by prior winners.
Linfield (D-III - OR): UNLV offensive line graduate assistant Mitch Malot has been hired as offensive line coach and run game coordinator.
Long Island (FCS - NY): Ian Pace, the former receivers coach at Colgate (FCS - NY), has accepted a position on the LIU staff as offensive line coach / run game coordinator.
Misericordia (D-III - PA): Steve Cushing, a 2018 graduate of the Misericordia, has been named the new head coach. He spent the last few seasons at SUNY Cortland (D-III) where, as the defensive coordinator, they won the 2023 national title.
College of DuPage (JC - IL): Jordan Westerkamp, the former Nebraska receiver, has joined the program as wide receivers coach.
Texas A&M-Kingsville (D-II): Receivers coach Jaxson Money is no longer with the program.
UNLV: Maxwell Cotton, who spent the past three seasons on staff at Utah where he most recently served as an offensive quality control assistant, has accepted a position working with the quarterbacks.
CSU Pueblo (D-II): The program has announced a number of hires, including Neema Behbahani (LBs / recruiting coordinator), Dennis Osagiede (DTs), Thomas Webb (DBs), and Jordan Dodge (OC).
Virginia Tech: Former Tulsa head coach, and former Baylor offensive coordinator Philip Montgomery has reportedly emerged as the target in the Hokies offensive coordinator search. Update >> The Hokies have now announced the hire.
Baltimore Ravens: Matt Pees, a defensive analyst with the Bears last year, is joining the team as assistant linebackers coach, per source.
Oregon: Dan Lanning's new receivers coach in Eugene is reportedly coming from the top passing offense in college football.
FIU: Per source, offensive graduate assistant Solomon Perez is being retained and will move from working with the tight ends to assisting with the quarterbacks.
Louisiana Tech: Per source, former Houston Christian (FCS) tight ends coach Carter Foster, who served as an offensive graduate assistant at Southern Miss this past season, has joined the LA Tech staff as a defensive analyst.
Oklahoma: Former Tulsa head coach Kevin Wilson has joined the Sooners staff in an offensive analyst role, per multiple reports.
