Kennesaw State (FCS - GA): Joe Speed has been announced as the team's new running backs coach. Speed spent the spring season as the co-defensive coordinator and outside linebackers coach at Western Carolina (FCS) and spent the previous two years as an analyst at UCLA as an analyst for Chip Kelly.
Kansas: We previously shared that Scott Aligo (director of scouting) and Greg Svarczkopf (director of recruiting) were joining the Kansas staff, and today Kansas announced those additions as well as the hires of Stephen Matos (senior offensive analyst) and Tory Teykl as director of player development.
Samford (FCS - AL): Samford is seeking two defensive volunteers. Responsibilities include but are not limited to operational tasks assigned by the coaching staff, opponent film breakdown/reports, and operating the scout team. North Carolina Central (FCS)): Micheal Sewell Jr. has accepted a defensive graduate assistant position, per source. He previously served as a graduate assistant at Black Hills State and prior to that was a defensive quality control coach at New Mexico.
Missouri Western (D-II): Fred Wyatt, who spent the last two seasons on the Kansas State staff as a defensive graduate assistant, has been hired as the team's new defensive line coach.
Central Connecticut State (FCS - CT): Central Connecticut is currently accepting applications for an unpaid Defensive Quality Control position. This is a VOLUNTEER position. Duties will include assisting the coaching staff in scouting, game-planning, recruiting, and day-to-day operations. Arkansas State: Florida State special teams quality control coach Curt Baldus is expected to be the new special teams coordinator on Butch Jones' staff, Bruce Feldman tweets. Before joining the Seminoles staff, Baldus spent seven seasons on the Costal Carolina staff working with special teams.

Chris Tormey: Coach Tormey, who had been coaching the linebackers for the BC Lions (CFL) most recently, has announced his retirement. Tormey served as the head coach at Idaho (1995-99) and Nevada (2000-03).
