Nicholls (FCS - LA): Sources tell FootballScoop that Nicholls has a new running backs coach, and he was the Colonels' running back these past four seasons.

Cal: More than three years after his controversial firing at Washington State, Nick Rolovich is back in coaching.

UAB: Air Force special assistant to the head coach Steve Russ, who spent six years in the NFL with the Panthers and Commanders as linebackers coach, is expected to join the staff as the new defensive coordinator, per 247.

Oklahoma: 247 shares that Washington State quarterbacks coach John Kuceyeski is joining the staff in Norman as senior offensive assistant / assistant quarterbacks coach.

Ball State: Butler (FCS - IN) defensive coordinator Adam Siwicki has followed Mike Uremovich to Ball State as defensive line coach. Also, Kennesaw State defensive backs coach Ray Smith is joining the staff as corners coach, per Matt Fortuna.

Maine Maritime (D-III): Maine Maritime Academy is accepting applications for both offensive line coach (with possible coordinator title for right candidate) as well as a defensive coordinator. Both positions have additional duties assigned in the athletic department in strength and conditioning. The positions are full-time, 12-month, benefitted union staff position under the supervision of the Director of Athletics and Head Football Coach with a salary starting at $58,000. Western Carolina (FCS): Kerwin Bell has received a five-year contract extension taking him through the 2030 season after guiding the Catamounts to 24 wins over the last four seasons.

Maine Maritime (D-III): Offensive coordinator Nick Sheehan has been elevated to head coach.

Northern Iowa (FCS): Drake (FCS - IA) defensive coordinator / linebackers coach Al Smith is joining Todd Stepsis' staff at UNI in the same capacity, as is Drake defensive line coach Christian Nussbaum. Also coming from Drake is Michael McCourt, who will be the team's special teams coordinator and running backs coach. Eastern Illinois graduate assistant Jax Ostroski is also set to join the staff.

UCF: Sean Beckton has been announced as associate head coach / wide receivers coach. He spent last season as an analyst as is a UCF Hall of Famer.

Wabash (D-III - IN): Jake Gilbert, who joined the staff as defensive coordinator prior to last season, has been elevated to head coach. he previously put together a 103-55 record in 13 seasons as the head coach at Westfield HS (IN).

LSU: After complaining that LSU doesn't have enough big-money NIL donors, Brian Kelly decided to become one.

Southern Miss: Sources tell FootballScoop Blake Anderson is slated to become offensive coordinator at Southern Miss, again. 

North Dakota (FCS): Isaac Fruechte is being retained as offensive coordinator on Eric Schmidt's staff. A former wide receiver at Minnesota and in the NFL for the Vikings and Lions, Isaac has experience as an offensive play caller at Winona State (D-II - MN), with previous stops at Northern Iowa (FCS), Northern State (D-II), and Wisconsin-La Crosse (D-III).

Michigan: AD Warde Manuel's new contract will pay him $2.4 million annually, making him the Big Ten's highest paid athletic director and one of the highest paid in the country, per Steve Berkowitz.

Franklin (D-III - IN): The Grizzlies all-time leader in wins is returning to lead the program.

Michigan: Chip Lindsey has now been formally announced as the new offensive coordinator for the Wolverines.

Rice: Mark Hogan, who previously worked with new Rice head coach Scott Abell at Davidson (FCS - NC), is expected to join the Owls staff as outside linebackers coach and special teams coordinator. Hogan spent the last several seasons at Charlotte, where he spent last season coaching the nickels.

Houston: Willie Fritz is working to bring an SEC coordinator to Houston, per a report Friday.

Oklahoma State: Jules Montinar, who spent last season at ECU and has previous experience coaching the defensive backs at Florida, is expected to join the OK State staff as defensive backs coach, per 247.

Louisiana Tech: New offensive coordinator Tony Franklin's contract is for two-years and worth $200k per season, BleedTechBlue shares.

Coastal Carolina: Head coach Tim Beck believes the days of building a program are dead. Modern day college football has become about building the best team possible, year-to-year.

UCF: Scott Frost is hiring Andrew Sims in a senior, off the field role at UCF sources share.

Anna Maria (D-III - MA): Per source, defensive line coach Ronnie McCuin has stepped down to pursue other opportunities.

Utah: In addition to Mark Atuaia (RBs), Utah has also announced the addition of Micah Simon as wide receivers coach. Simon spent last season at New Mexico with new offensive coordinator Jason Beck and also has stops at Northern Colorado (FCS) and Syracuse.

Eastern New Mexico (D-II): Eastern New Mexico University is now accepting applicants for a graduate assistant position. Job duties include coaching a position, recruiting area, and being proficient in HUDL. Position has flexibility on either of side of the ball. Additional duties within the HPE department may be assigned as well. Qualified candidates must apply and gain admittance into Eastern New Mexico Graduate School. Minimum requirements are a 3.o GPA. Arizona; Sources tell FootballScoop that Brent Brennan is working to finalize a deal with Seth Doege as the new offensive coordinator for the Wildcats.

Cal: Kyle Cefalo, who was the offensive coordinator at Utah State last year, is expected to join the staff and coach the receivers, per 247. He helped the Aggies average 36 points per game through the final nine games of the season.

Virginia Tech: Brent Pry is reportedly shaking up his staff, including a significant coordinator change.

Southern Miss: Director of athletics Jeremy McClain has received a four-year contract extension.

Louisiana Tech: Well traveled college coaching veteran Tony Franklin will be the new offensive coordinator for Sonny Cumbie's program. Franklin previously served in the same role for Sonny Dykes at LA Tech and has previous play calling experience at Kentucky, Troy, Auburn, and MTSU.

North Carolina: Details of Bill Belichick's North Carolina contract are out.

Southern Miss: After a 10-win season and Sun Belt title, Marshall was unwilling to extend Charles Huff Their loss is the gain of Southern Miss, who will pay Huff like one of the conference's top coaches

Sam Houston: Here's an update at Sam Houston, as the search enters its final stage.

Southern Miss: Charles Huff and the Golden Eagles are nabbing a defensive assistant with SEC experience, per source.

Oklahoma State: Sources tell FootballScoop Doug Meacham is headed back to Stillwater, this time as Mike Gundy's offensive coordinator.

Clarion (D-II - PA): Clarion, an NCAA Division II school and member of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, is seeking applicants for an Offensive Coordinator. Duties will include coordinating the offense, recruiting a specific geographic area, academic monitoring, and other duties assigned by the head football coach. Air Force: Sources tell FootballScoop the contract with Fresno State didn't get executed and Troy Calhoun is holding on to Nick Toth. Toth was set to become defensive coordinator at Matt Entz; but now he's staying.

Florida State: New Seminoles offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn, fresh off a stint at the head coach at UCF, shares, "The job description of being a head coach has changed dramatically the past two years."

Ohio State: AD Ross Bjork confirmed Ryan Day will return for 2025 and debuted a new strategy for dealing with the Michigan Problem.
