Arkansas: Arkansas and Bret Bielema have finally dropped their guns and stopped suing each other.

Michigan: The Wolverines have formally announced the addition of Courtney Morgan as director of player personnel.

North Park (D-III - IL): North Park University, located in Chicago, is accepting applications for the position of Graduate Assistant Football Coach. Three positions are available, two with on-field coaching responsibilities (position TBD) and one with a focus on recruiting, video, and digital media. Compensation includes $6,000, a master's degree, and a partial meal plan. Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree, gain acceptance into one of North Park's graduate programs, and have a personal commitment to North Park’s mission of Christian higher education. Strong interpersonal skills, a tireless work ethic, and a desire to learn are essential to the position. College Football Playoff: It remains to be seen when and by how much it happens, but it's a virtual certainty that the College Football Playoff expands in the near future.

SUNY Brockport (D-III – NY): SUNY Brockport located in Brockport, NY is seeking applicants for graduate assistant coaching positions. The position will include a stipend, grad class and possible housing. This is a non-benefits eligible position with an August 2021 start date. Responsibilities include assisting the head coach in all aspects of a highly competitive Division III football program, including but not limited to: coaching your own position group, recruitment of qualified and competitive student-athletes in your assigned area, student-athlete development, ensuring academic success of student-athletes, practice and game film breakdown (HUDL). Wisconsin: The Badgers have approved a new 5-year agreement with Paul Chryst effectively keeping him in Madison through January 31, 2026.

Chris Petersen: The former Boise State and Washington head coach's latest comments don't indicate he's itching to return to coaching.

Warner (NAIA - FL): The Warner University football program is seeking applicants for a defensive graduate assistant. July, 2021 start date. Applicants must have a strong Christian faith and work within the mission of Warner University. Candidates MUST have an undergraduate 2.75 GPA in order to be accepted into one of Warner’s Graduate Programs Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, coaching a position, assisting the defensive coordinator in weekly game preparation, recruiting, and other duties assigned by the defensive coordinator or head coach. Colorado Mesa (D-II): Colorado Mesa University (NCAA DII / RMAC), located in Grand Junction, Colorado, is looking for an individual with offensive line experience (playing or coaching) for the position of assistant Offensive Line coach. This is a non-paid and non-benefitted position. It is a great opportunity for a coach looking to gain experience. UCF: Arkansas director of offensive personnel Jesse Stone is joining the UCF staff Brandon Marcello shares. Marcello adds Stone is filling the role previously occupied by Will Bryant to left to join Chad Morris' staff at Allen High School (TX).

Lackawanna (JC - PA):Lackawanna is looking for a JC opponent to fill an open date on 9/11, 10/2 or 11/13 for the Fall 21’ season. Preference would be for a home game at Lackawanna in 2021, but all options will be considered. Please contact Bill Reiss at reissb@lackawanna.edu or (570)706-5195.

Norfolk State (FCS - LA): The contract for new head coach Dawson Odums is a five-year deal worth $240k annually, Adam Winkler of News 3 tweets.

LSU: Mason Smith, a recruiting specialist at Mississippi State, has accepted a position in the LSU recruiting department.

Bryant (FCS - RI): Bryant University is currently accepting applications for a volunteer, Defensive Quality Control Assistant. This is an entry level position designed for highly motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and an interest in gaining direct work experience at the FCS Level. Ideal candidates should have a minimum of playing experience at the high school level, however, collegiate playing experience is preferred. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: video upload and editing, opponent film breakdown, opponent reports, assisting with recruiting, tracking recruiting activity, and any other responsibilities assigned by the Head Coach. Candidates must have a strong background using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Prior experience using Microsoft Visio and XOS Digital Film Software is highly encouraged. This is strictly a volunteer position with no stipend, housing, or meals. Local applicants are encouraged to apply. UTSA: UTSA is seeking a highly motivated individual for a creative design role within the Athletics department. Responsibilities will include directly assisting the athletics creative department with designing recruiting graphics/video to be use on all social media platforms. Northwestern: Pat Fitzgerald has announced the promotion of Jacob Schmidt to director of football operations. Schmidt previously worked in building the mentorship and professional development programs for the Wildcats. He replaces Cody Cejda, who left for a position with the Chargers after 12 seasons in Evanston.
