UNLV: The Rebels have formally announced the hire of Tanner Maher as their director of strength and conditioning.
Yale (FCS): Yale is currently looking for and accepting applications for an Assistant Football Strength and Conditioning position. This position will be first assistant for football as well as have one Olympic team of their own. This position will directly report to Head of Football and be the first assistant for football. Will be involved in all day to day responsibilities for football as well as oversee one Olympic team. Job Summary: Plans, administers, and manages strength and conditioning programs for the Universityβs varsity intercollegiate teams in conjunction with the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. Principal Responsibilities: 1. Designs year-long, comprehensive strength and conditioning programs for assigned teams to include pre season, in season, post season and off season training cycles. 2. Assists in scheduling, managing and maintenance of three varsity weight rooms. 3. Tests and evaluates student athletes to track progress of program. 4. Meets regularly with coaches and athletic trainers to keep updated on student athletes' status. 5. Supervises and trains student employees.
