Louisville: Louisville Football Strength and Conditioning is seeking hard working future strength coaches for FALL 2024 internships. Must be in pursuit of a relevant professional certification or degree, certified in CPR/AED/First Aid, able to adapt to a demanding schedule and work in a fast-paced environment. Holy Cross: College of the Holy Cross Strength and Conditioning department is accepting applications for their Fall 2024 Strength and Conditioning Internship. This is a volunteer position that offers Division I experience with 27 varsity sports and training in an educational environment. You will gain valuable experience with a variety of training technology: GPS Monitoring, Gym Aware (VBT), Just Jump Mats, Dashr Timing System and InBody testing. Applicants must be receiving course credit in order to be considered for this position. You will gain valuable program writing and hands on coaching experience to become a successful strength and conditioning coach. This internship is CSCCa mentorship approved and will help you prepare for the CSCCa (SCCC) and/or NSCA (CSCS) exams. There is also potential for future recommendations or opportunities in the field of strength and conditioning. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting the strength and conditioning staff in the training of the Holy Cross athletic programs, assist with daily administrative and maintenance duties, assist in the set-up and break-down of equipment for every workout, various fuel/nutrition station duties, and participation in weekly program writing assignments. Minimum Qualifications: Must have a strong work-ethic, enthusiasm, and a desire to develop the characteristics necessary to become a successful strength and conditioning coach. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree/pursuing a degree in exercise science or a related field. Pursuing one of the following certifications: SCCC; CSCS or USAW and a CPR/AED–First Aid certification. Gardner-Webb (FCS - NC): Gardner-Webb University is looking to hire an athletic performance graduate assistant. This position includes housing, a tuition waiver, and monthly stipend. This position will assist with Football and be directly responsible for the training of Wrestling, Volleyball, Women’s Lacrosse, and Softball. Receipt of this position is predicated upon acceptance into a Gardner-Webb University graduate school program.
