UNC Pembroke: UNC-Pembroke is hiring multiple Athletic Performance Coaches. Job Summary: To lead all strength and conditioning activities for 2-3 athletic programs and assist in strength and conditioning activities for football in a safe and professional manner, and within all rules and regulations of UNCP and the NCAA. Must maintain professional working relationships with athletic training staff and all members of coaching staff. Must demonstrate the ability to clearly and professionally communicate with student-athletes, administration and staff. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or similar field. Must be CSCS, CSCCA, or USAW certified, CPR, AED and First Aid certified or have the ability to obtain CPR, AED and First Aid certification within the first 30 days of beginning the position. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Six months to 1 year of collegiate strength & conditioning experience is preferred in a professional internship capacity. Compensation: This is a 10 month position that includes a $10,000 stipend ($1,000/month), along with continuing education opportunities. No Additional Benefits. Baker (NAIA - KS): The Baker University Strength and Conditioning Department is seeking to fill one Graduate Assistant position. The position will report directly to the Director of Strength and Conditioning. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with all sports including football and the opportunity to lead 2-4 teams to be determined upon hire. Hours will vary and will include early mornings and late evenings. Other responsibilities include: daily maintenance and upkeep of facility, interns, etc. Candidates will receive valuable hands-on coaching experience in all aspects as well as the opportunity to learn and grow in the field of Strength & Conditioning. QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must hold a BA/BS in Kinesiology or Exercise Science related field. CPR, First Aid and AED certification required. Preferred Qualifications: Certification as a Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCCa, CSCS or NSCA) or must be able to obtain within six months of hire. Candidates must possess strong communication skills, positive energy, attention to detail, sense of urgency, and strong work ethic. Start date is negotiable either summer of 2023 or Fall 2023. UNLV: The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Associate Director of Football Strength and Conditioning, UNLV Athletics [R0136568] ROLE of the POSITION The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Director of Football Strength and Conditioning in executing a comprehensive strength and conditioning program with the UNLV Football team. Position goals include developing programs to increase athletic ability in order to reduce injuries and to improve performance specific to football student-athletes while instilling a winning attitude and work ethic. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited college or university and a minimum of one (1) year of experience as a collegiate strength and conditioning certified coach along with experience under a certified strength coach. In addition, candidates must possess CSCAS (through NSCA) or SCCC (through CSCCa) certification plus CPR/AED certification. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Two (2) to three (3) years as a collegiate strength and conditioning certified coach along with experience under a certified strength coach. SALARY RANGE Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions.
