Buffalo: Ryan Horton, who most recently spent three seasons at Georgia Tech working as director of applied sports science, has been named head strength and conditioning coach for Pete Lembo's program. Before Georgia Tech, Horton worked under David Feeley at Temple for two seasons, and Feeley served as the head strength coach for Lembo at Ball State.
Southeast Missouri State (FCS): SEMO is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Graduate Assistant Sport Performance Coach. Candidates must have a great work ethic, strong communication skills, and be passionate about continually progressing as a strength and conditioning professional. The position requires certification in First Aid and CPR, and progress towards CSCS and or SCCC. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting the Director & Assistant Director in the design and implementation of training programs; meeting with sport coaches and athletic trainers to collaborate on program design and modifications; weight room supervision; daily upkeep and maintenance of equipment; and other duties as assigned. The Graduate Assistant position is a two-year assignment beginning JULY of the 2024-2025 academic year and includes a tuition waiver for graduate credit hours and a monthly stipend.
