Ripon (D-III - WI): Ripon College Athletics is seeking a Strength & Conditioning Graduate Assistant beginning in the Summer of 2024. This position will provide opportunities to work with all 18 varsity sports at Ripon College under the direction of the head strength coach. Depending on the qualifications and experience of the candidate, opportunities to program for and direct the training of a team may be given. -The Ripon College Master of Exercise Science is a 15 month program that begins in the summer of 2024, continues through the fall 2024 & spring 2025 semesters, and concludes in the summer of 2025. Students can choose between the specializations of exercise physiology, sport psychology, or sport management. Graduate assistants will be given a 30% tuition remission and a stipend of $7000. St. Lawrence: St Lawrence Strength and Conditioningis seeking 2-4 interns for the Spring of 2024. The internship will range from January 14th , 2024 and end May 11th, 2024. Interns should be working toward a degree in kenisiology (or a related field) and have the desire to work as a strength and conditioning coach. Interns can expect to be mentored in various conventional and modern methods of program design, athletic communications, athletic operations, facility and staff management, and sports performance philosophy. Through this experience, interns should expect to gain experience in:program design (for a wide variety of sports, including football), injury modifications,on-the-floor coaching, interactions with coaching staffs, data management,and performance testing, and managing student-employees. Interns should be working toward acquiring the NSCA CSCS certification, and expect continuing education related to passing the CSCS exam. This will include a structured educational curriculum, with various lectures and assignments. This is an unpaid internship, however there are various opportunities to earn moneyassociated with this position by conducting group fitness classes or personal training. ENMU: Eastern New Mexico is seeking candidates for the Winter 2024 Sports Performance Internship Program. Qualified candidates will have an opportunity to work with the Sports Performance staff. Required qualifications: completion or currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in the field. Other preferred qualifications include certification(s) from CSCCa and NSCA, previous coaching experience(s), experience in collegiate sports, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
