It's a return to his roots for Cordae Hankton, an Louisiana native with a strong reputation among the state's high school coaches -- a role Hankton held for seven years in New Orleans before transitioning into collegiate coaching.
He arrives in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, after spending the 2023 campaign on Tony Elliott's University of Virginia staff, serving the Cavaliers as an offensive analyst.
Hankton's other Power 5 stops include as an analyst at the University of Texas and graduate assistant posts at both Colorado and Michigan State.
He was Charlotte's running backs coach in 2022, serving on Will Healy's final 49ers squad.
