Coastal Carolina is parting ways with offensive coordinator Travis Trickett, who had been the program's play-caller since 2023 sources told FootballScoop.
The school has now announced the move.
Trickett had climbed through the coaching ranks with stops at Samford, Florida Atlantic, Georgia State, West Virginia and South Florida in 2022.
Coastal is No. 43 nationally in scoring offense through the season's first two months, averaging almost 32 points per game.
But Tim Beck's Chanticleers are just 4-3 on the season and have dropped three of their last four games. Beck, a former offensive coordinator, is resuming his play-calling duties.
This past weekend, Coastal lost 34-24 to visiting Louisiana, just days after being annihilated 39-7 by James Madison and first-year coach Bob Chesney.
Coastal has an open date this week before a visit to conference rival Troy Nov. 2.
