Sources: Valdosta State planning to name former quarterback the new head coach (Graham Craig)

Sources tell FootballScoop after a healthy search, leadership at Valdosta State has come to the conclusion the best man for the job is already there. 

Former Valdosta State quarterback Graham Craig will become head coach of the Blazers. 

Craig returned to VSU prior to the '24 season, serving as offensive coordinator for this year's team which went 14-1, finishing runner's up to National Champion Ferris State. 

The Blazers' offense was a force this season under Craig's guidance. 

Craig previously served as senior analyst / quarterbacks at Memphis. Prior to the '23 season at Memphis, Craig spent five seasons at West Georgia, four as offensive coordinator.
