UAB football is back...and with some sweet new helmets (UAB)

ESPN reporter Marty Smith has quickly ascended the ranks at the Worldwide Leader, going from NASCAR reporter, to assignments across college and professional football and beyond, and exactly one week ago, ESPN announced that Smith would be getting his very own interview show called SportsCenter Presents: Marty Smith's America.

Smith was down in Birmingham, Alabama today to spend some time with Bill Clark and the UAB program who are making their way back onto the field this fall after a brief, highly publicized, hiatus.

Not only is UAB fired up about returning to play this fall, they're also going to be donning some fresh new helmets, according to
