Heading into his eighth season as a head coach, Steve Addazio has missed a bowl game twice. His 2012 Temple team went 4-7, and his 2015 Boston College squad went 3-9. In those two seasons, Addazio's teams ranked 108th and 124th, respectively, in passing efficiency.
