As DeShaun Foster keeps rounding his inaugural UCLA staff into form, there's a change coming along the offensive front for the Bruins, sources tell FootballScoop.
Foster and new offensive coordinator Eric Bienemy are parting ways with veteran offensive line coach Tim Drevno, sources tell FootballScoop Monday morning.
Foster was hired last month after former head coach Chip Kelly left for Ohio State to become the Buckeyes's offensive coordinator, and Foster hired Bienemy after Bienemy was not retained by the NFL's Washington Commanders.
Drevno had been the UCLA offensive line coach the past two seasons and had worked on the offensive side of the ball with Foster during that time.
Additionally, Drevno served as a senior offensive analyst for the Bruins in 2021.
No stranger to the West Coast, Drevno actually was hired at UCLA after he had logged time on Clay Helton's staff at USC, where he was the offensive line coach and running game coordinator.
Drevno's additional coaching experience includes stints with the University of Michigan and NFL's San Francisco 49ers.
Update> Multiple outlets are now reporting Juan Castillo is expected to be hired to fill Drevno's position. Castillo has previously coached offensive line for the Eagles, Ravens and Bears.
