Matt Dudek is leaving his post as Michigan's director of recruiting for a similar role at Mississippi State, sources told FootballScoop on Wednesday. The Michigan Insiderfirst reported the news.
FootballScoop reported Tuesday that former Wolverine Courtney Morgan will join the staff in a senior personnel role.
Dudek has been with Michigan since July of 2017 following six years at Arizona. He came to Tucson as the Wildcats' on-campus recruiting coordinator and rose to director of player personnel and later as general manager. He was a finalist for FootballScoop's Personnel Director of the Year award in 2014.
A Pitt graduate, Dudek held a variety of administrative and personnel roles at Pitt and Rutgers before joining Rich Rodriguez's Arizona staff.
Dudek fills the role vacated when Mike Villagrana left for a role at Marshall.
With this move Dudek might just become the first man to ever work for Mike Leach, Jim Harbaugh, Rich Rodriguez and Greg Schiano. Think about that for a moment...
