Tulsa is expected to hire Joe Bolden as its special teams coordinator, sources told FootballScoop on Monday.
Bolden comes to the Golden Hurricane from Nevada, where he was the Wolf Pack's special teams coordinator and outside linebackers coach.
Bolden will also coach a position on defense, sources say. He replaces Ricky Brown, who joined Kevin Wilson's staff in January but took the outside linebackers job and special teams job at Navy last month.
As Indiana's head coach, Wilson also recruited Bolden as an All-Ohio player out of Cincinnati's Colerain High School. The two later worked together for two seasons at Ohio State, where Wilson was the Buckeyes' offensive coordinator and Bolden a defensive quality control coach.
Following the conclusion of his playing career in 2015, Wilson has served in support staff roles at Michigan, Florida Atlantic, Washington State, and USC.
