Rice herself has also shot the report down.
Last week, Cleveland Browns general manager John Dorsey said he would consider interviewing a woman for the club's head coaching vacancy if he thought she might be the right person to lead the team -- and he wasn't kidding.
Turns out he really, really wasn't kidding.
According to a report Sunday from ESPN's Adam Schefter, Dorsey wants to interview Condoleezza Rice for the Browns' head coaching job.
"She's an amazing person," one Browns source told Schefter.
Though Rice obviously has zero football coaching experience, she has a wealth of experience in high-level leadership positions.
Rice was the Secretary of State under President George W. Bush, the Bush White House's National Security Advisor before that, and also served as the provost at Stanford University. She's also been mentioned as a possible replacement to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell should that position come open.
Rice also served on the inaugural College Football Playoff selection committee. She's also a Browns fan and has a relationship with team owner Jimmy Haslam.
If it happens, Rice would be the first woman to ever interview for an NFL head coaching position.
