LSU and Texas are in a bit of a Cold War over the issue of camps in Louisiana. The gist of it is this: Texas, through Hal Mumme, who UT partnered with in an attempt to get in the state, argue LSU's protectiveness of its state borders does a disservice to the high school prospects in Louisiana.
LSU counters by stating they give Louisiana high school recruits all the help they could need by giving them every opportunity to be seen by coaches from every Division I school inside Louisiana's state borders.
We laid out the issues in more detail earlier today, but here is a conveniently-timed video LSU put out today advertising its partnership with the other Louisiana schools.
