Video: "Reign Supreme" (video)

Linfield College started the season among the top teams in Division III, and by the end of the year, they proved to everyone why they were worthy of belonging there. The Wildcats finished the 2014 season 11-2 and ranked #3 in the country, making it to the national semifinals before losing to eventual national champion Wisconsin-Whitewater in a 20-14 thriller.

Next season, Linfield will again be in the national title conversation, in part because of the culture of success the program has and the continuity they have in the coaching staff. Last year they won their 6th straight (and 38th overall) Northwest Conference Championship, beating their league opponents by a whopping 52 points per game.

Head coach Joe Smith was named conference coach of the year for the 6th year in a row, and defensive coordinator Jackson Vaughan was named the FootballScoop Division III Coordinator of the Year. Vaughan's defense finished #2 overall in total defense, 3rd nationally in sacks, and 3rd nationally in tackles for loss. While the offense was putting up over 45 points per game, Vaughan's defense was allowing just over 13 points per contest.

Like their on-the-field product, the videos they churn out are equally as dominating and are regarded as some of the highest quality videos amongst their non-FBS peers.

With that said, here's a look at their 2014 year in review entitled, "Reign Supreme".
