Lance Leipold and Kansas will enter next season with two new coordinators.
First-year Jayhawks offensive coordinator Jeff Grimes left for the same job at Wisconsin just recently, and now a report this morning shares that a change is taking place on the defensive side of the ball as well.
Brian Borland, who has been at Kansas the last four seasons, is expected to step down, per 247.
Borland and Leipold's relationship goes back years, as the two have worked side-by-side at UW-Whitewater (D-III) and Buffalo in addition to Kansas.
247 adds that DK McDonald, who worked with the Eagles from 2021-23 before joining the staff in Lawrence, is expected to become the team's new defensive coordinator.
McDonald spent last season with the Jayhawks as co-defensive coordinator and corners coach.
