Former Florida State defensive coordinator Adam Fuller reportedly lands in NFL (adam fuller)

A disastrous 2024 season saw the Seminoles part ways with a number of assistants after a 1-9 start just a year removed from a 13-1 season.

Among Norvell's personnel moves in an effort to improve the program was the decision to part ways with defensive coordinator Adam Fuller after five seasons together.

ESPN shares this morning that Fuller is now set to land in the NFL.

Fuller is expected to become the new safeties coach in LA for the Chargers, per Pete Thamel.

A veteran college defensive coordinator, the move to LA marks the first coaching opportunity in the NFL for Fuller, who has called defenses at the major college level at Marshall, Memphis and Florida State.

He also spent a few seasons at the FCS level coordinating the defense at UT-Chattanooga and has coordinated special teams at Marshall, Wagner (FCS - NY), and Richmond (FCS - VA).

Fuller was one of nine coordinators in major college football to make at least $2 million annually last year, and following his dismissal in Tallahassee, FSU is entitled to offset based on what Fuller will make in his new role.
