Bobby Petrino is, indeed, Arkansas's new offensive coordinator, and he's got the contract to prove it.
The former Head Hog and statewide pariah signed a 2-year contract that begins Sunday, Dec. 3, and runs through Feb. 28, 2026.
Petrino will earn $350,000 from Sunday through the end of February, at which point a new contract year will begin. He'll earn $1.5 million over the following 12 months (covering the 2024 football season) and $1.6 million for the 2025 football season.
His bonuses range from roughly $20,000 for reaching the SEC championship to $125,000 for winning a national championship.
Perks include $2,000 yearly in Nike gear, membership to one of two local country clubs, and a $7,200 vehicle allowance he will most certainly not use on a motorcyle.
For what it's worth, Petrino made $2.85 million per year upon originally taking the Arkansas head coaching position in 2008.
