Last week, Arkansas offensive line coach Kurt Anderson took to Twitter to vow that he would find the dog owners responsible for killing the Anderson family cat, but now Anderson is making headlines for a softer approach, involving a split-second decision he made while out on the road recruiting.
The other day while on the road in Alabama, Anderson witnessed a car weaving in and out of traffic onto the shoulder of the highway of I-65 North, and a short time later he rolled up on an accident where a man was ejected from his car, and hurt pretty badly. Acting quickly, Anderson got out to help.
Luckily an off duty paramedic saw the accident as well from the other side of the highway and stopped to lend a hand as well.

Judging from Anderson's next tweet, the injuries that the guy sustained were pretty horrific.
Thanks to the quick action of Anderson, the off duty paramedic, and the fast response from emergency units, the man was airlifted to a local hospital and was in stable condition.
My hat goes off to coach Anderson for doing the right thing and recognizing the need for action in this situation by stopping to help in whatever way he could while many others likely drove on by. It very likely may have helped saved the man's life.
