Nebraska-Kearney (D-II): Athletic director Paul Plinske pledged that the athletic department would fund the football program "at the level that they need to be competitive" per the Kearney Hub. That includes a higher salary for the head coach (Darrell Morris made $79,120 in 2014), assistant coaches (the pool in 2014 was $200,000), and additional scholarship funds. According to Plinske, the median salary for head coaches in the conference is $98,700 and the highest assistant salary pool in the league is $380,000.

Alabama State (FCS): Head coach Reggie Barlow tells the Montgomery Advertiser that he expects to continue coaching the team well beyond this Saturday's season finale, despite an ultimatum last week from athletic director Melvin Hines to either walk away or resign. Just a few months ago, Barlow signed a three year contract extension. "Signed a contract so we’ll expect to be here for the next three years,” Barlow told the paper.

Florida A&M (FCS): Interim head coach Corey Fuller told the Tallahassee Democrat today that he has officially applied for the permanent head coaching position. Fuller is 1-2 in the interim role.

Quincy University (D-II - IL): Quincy is now accepting applicants for two offensive grad assistant positions (WRs and RBs). Expected starting date is January 5, 2015. Compensation includes tuition, housing, meal plan and a $2,000 stipend. Job duties include coaching a position, full time recruiting area, video analysis, special teams coaching and any other responsibilities as assigned by the head coach. Qualified candidates must apply and gain admittance into the Master’s program of Educational Leadership, Educational Counseling or Business Administration prior to being interviewed. Minimum requirements are a 3.0+ GPA and a score of 380+ on the MAT. Gavilan College (CC - CA): Gavilan College in Gilroy, Calif., is now accepting resumes for a stipend Wide Receivers Coach. The position pays $2700 per year, with no housing or other benefits. Bowdoin (D-III - ME):  Bowdoin College is currently accepting applications for the position of Head Coach of Football. A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or related field is preferred (or a minimum of 5 years of coaching experience at the post‐secondary level and/or professional competitive experience). Also required: Demonstrated effectiveness coaching football. A minimum of 4 years' coaching at the secondary or post‐secondary level or a minimum of 4 years' experience working in a competitive collegiate environment is required. The coach must have the skills necessary to manage a large staff and work cooperatively across the campus community. A valid driver’s license and ability to meet the standards of the College’s current Motor Vehicle Policy is required. Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification must be maintained. Will Muschamp: Muschamp said on the SEC teleconference Wednesday that he would like to work next year, but hasn't given any thought as to where. He said he'll take time after the Florida State game to "see what the next step is."
