Tampa Bay Buccaneers owner/president Malcolm Glazer has passed away at age 85. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and the Tampa Bay organization.

Mendocino College (JC - CA): Frank Espy will be the new head coach at Mendocino, per source. 

Georgia: On campus recruiting director Daryl Jones has left the program. 

Arizona: Per Doug Haller, Rich Rod has agreed to an extension through May 2019. The new deal calls for Rich Rod to earn about $2 million this year (before payments from Nike & IMG) and rise by $100,000 each year thereafter. Athletic director Greg Byrne has also agreed to a new contract which runs through May 2019 as well. Byrne's salary will increase from $500,000 to $625,000. Both Rich Rod and Byrne also stand to benefit significantly from a unique retention scheme funded by a major benefactor of the university. More to come on this as it all becomes more clear. 

Auburn: Ole Miss intern, and former A-State quarterback, Ryan Aplin is joining the Auburn staff as an offensive grad assistant. 

Arizona State: Todd Graham has received a one year extension (through June 2019) and a $300,000 raise pushing his annual salary to $2.7 million. 

Troy: Per source,East Mississippi CC outside linebackers coach Webb Hamilton has been added to the staff as a graduate assistant.

Southern Miss: Assistant head coach / player personnel Steve Buckley has decided to step down from the staff. Buckley was one of the nine countable coaches. We understand that Buckley plans to take a more active role in a local business that he already owned. 

North Carolina: Offensive grad assistant Ryan McKee has signed an NFL contract to join the Kansas City Chiefs as an offensive lineman. 

Franklin Pierce (Sprint - NH): Franklin Pierce University has a graduate assistant coaching position opening. Position includes a stipend and all graduate degree courses, Coaching a position, recruiting and other responsibilities according to the head football coach. Earlham (D-III - IN): Earlham College is accepting applications for a part-time defensive assistant coach. Applicants must have experience coaching or playing the defensive line. Special teams experience is also desirable. The position is a 10 month appointment paying approximately $12,000 with housing and some meals. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree required. Allegheny College (D-III - PA): Allegheny College is currently seeking applications for an assistant football coach working with the running backs. This is a ten-month position that includes basic medical coverage and a competitive salary. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist head coach with the organization and direction of all aspects of a competitive football program. Specific responsibilities include identification and recruitment of athletically and academically qualified student- athletes; regular practice sessions and game preparation.
