There is a lot that goes into a successful off season. On the surface you have all the strength and conditioning, and agility work to get your guys ready for fall competition, but for programs like MacMurray College (D-III - IL) understand that a truly successful off season goes well beyond that.

At MacMurray the staff divides the team into groups and dishes out points for different team events, and community service throughout the off season. They have named their competition the "MacElite".

Teams competed in everything from their weight room max outs, to three point contests, trivia night, a polar plunge, and multiple community service events at elementary schools and nursing homes. Overall the teams compiled 458 hours of community service vying for the crown of the top team.

This video captures the competitiveness of the MacElite program with a tip of the hat to each team, the eventual champ, and their combined points at the end.
