University of British Columbia (Canada): Shawn Olson has been let go as head coach. Olson's assistant coaches will remain in place for the time being.
Alabama State (FCS): Head coach Reggie Barlow, who just signed an extension a few months ago, has reportedly been asked to resign. Barlow confirmed to the Montgomery Advertiser tonight that ASU athletic director Melvin Hines met with him today and gave him an ultimatum, walk away now or at the end of the year. Lawyers are now involved. Unfortunate. As always, we'll keep you posted as this plays out.
South Carolina: Defensive coordinator Lorenzo Ward was asked following practice today if he was concerned about his job security, "Not at all."
Incarnate Word (FCS - TX): UIW athletic director Mark Papich responding to FootballScoop via email today stated that head coach Larry Kennan is half way through his contract and "from the University's stand point he will be the UIW head football coach next year." UIW, 2-7, has games remaining vs Sam Houston State and at Lamar. We will keep you updated.
Syracuse: Head coach Scott Shafer noted on his teleconference today that offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Tim Lester will remain the offensive coordinator next season. Lester took over the offensive coordinator job from George McDonald about a month ago. McDonald is now serving as associate head coach / wide receivers coach.
Florida A&M: Florida A&M has put together a nine-member search committee to find their new head coach, per the Tallahassee Democrat. The article states that FAMU hopes to be close to making hire around November 22 and have a coach in place by January of 2015.
Green Bay Packers: The new deal thatMike McCarthy and the Packers agreed to yesterday is for three years, taking him through 2018, per Ian Rapoport.

Mississippi CC/JC all Star Classic: The Annual Mississippi Community/Junior College All-Star Football Classic will be held at Tiger Stadium, on the campus of Northeast Mississippi Community College, in Booneville, Mississippi, on December 4, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. The game will include seventy (70) of the best sophomore football players from the Mississippi Community/Junior College Association. All coaching staffs are cordially invited to attend the classic from Monday, December 2, through Wednesday, December 4, for practice sessions and the game. Information (transcripts, stats, game films and film room) regarding each student-athlete will be available. In order for these services to be provided, a registration fee in the amount of $150.00 per school or professional organization will be required, postmarked prior to November 22, 2014.
