UCLA: The University of California, Los Angeles is accepting applications for the position of Athletic Performance Intern. Positions are available to commence in March 2015 and conclude in June 2015. Duties include assisting the full-time coaching staff in all aspects of the UCLA Athletic Performance program including but not limited to: Dynamic warmups, regenerations, speed, plyometric, and strength development, energy systems development, and athlete assessments. Minimum requirements include a Bachelorβs degree or a degree in progress in an exercise science related field as well as a strong desire to pursue a career in collegiate strength and conditioning. CSCS or CSCCA certification is preferred and CPR & First Aid certification is required. A minimum time commitment of 30 hours per week is required. These positions are for volunteer coaches and no compensation will be provided. Screening of applications has begun and will continue until all positions are filled.
