Source: Austin Peay to name Will Healy as head coach (will healy)

Austin Peay will name Will Healy as its head football coach, a source told FootballScoop Monday.

Healy is a seven-year assistant at Chattanooga, the last six as receivers coach and the most recent one as passing game coordinator. He helped the Mocs post a 9-4 mark in 2015, including a second-round appearance in the FCS playoffs.

He spent his entire coaching career at Chattanooga, joining the Mocs after serving as a captain on Richmond's 2008 national title team.

Healy takes over a Governors program that suffered through an 0-11 mark in 2015 and has tasted victory once in its past three seasons. Austin Peay has not won more than three games since 2010 and last posted a winning record in 2007.

As always, stay tuned to The Scoop for the latest.
