South Florida: Per the Tampa Bay Times, new defensive coordinator Raymond Woodie will make $260,000 this fall, a raise of $25,000 to go with his new role. Woodie will make $275,000 in 2017. Also, co-offensive coordinator / offensive line coach Darren Hiller will make a base salary of $250,000 yearly as part of a two-year deal, co-offensive coordinator / wide receivers coach TJ Weist will make $220,000 annually as part of his two-year deal, and quarterbacks coach Shaun King will make $180,000 on a one-year deal. Additionally, John Jancek (who was hired to coach the safeties) will earn $380,000 total over the course of his two-year contract, and that figure includes a $130k salary this year (with a $20k signing bonus) and $250k next year.
Ohio Dominican (D-II): Former Carnegie Mellon (D-III - PA) wide receivers coach Drew Spencer has accepted the wide receivers job, per source.
Albion (D-III - MI): Albion College is looking for opponents to fill our 2018 and 2019 schedule. Dates available are September 22, 2018 and November 3, 2018 with corresponding dates of September 28, 2019 and November 9, 2019. Would prefer home & home contracts. Albany State (D-II - GA): After leading the team to a 6-4 mark as the interim head coach, Dan Land been named the program's full-time head coach.
Valdosta State (D-II): Head coachKerwin Bell has now formally announced the additions of James Rowe (defensive coordinator) and Danny Verpaele (linebackers coach). Rowe previously coaches with Bell at Jacksonville University, and spent the past few seasons at Florida assisting with the secondary while Verpaele spent last season at Army West Point and also worked with coach Bell at Jacksonville, where he worked with the secondary.
Missouri Southern (D-II): Per source, Bill Bleil has joined Denver Johnson's staff at Missouri Southern and will coach the offensive line. Bleil most recently served as the offensive coordinator / offensive line coach at Rhode Island (FCS) and also previously served as the offensive line coach at Iowa State.
