Globe Tech (JC - NY): Globe Tech has opted to drop their football program, per source.

SEC Media Days: SEC Media Days kick off today, starting with commissioner Greg Sankey at 11:35, followed by Auburn's Gus Malzahn, Florida's Jim McElwain, and Vanderbilt's Derek Mason. Here are the the run downs from Malzahn, McElwain, and Mason.

Teamworks: "It's just a much more immediate way of communicating. Southeastern Louisiana (FCS): Southeastern Louisiana University Football is looking for Student Assistant/ Graduate Assistant Video Coordinator. The ideal candidate specializes in pre-game/season highlight videos and works fluently with Hudl editing system. Successful applicants must be accepted to Southeastern Louisiana University and be enrolled in 3 hrs of undergraduate classes or 3 hrs of graduate classes. Position will possibly pay for school and possibly pay a stipend depending on work experience. Previous video experience is preferred. Must have a resume with 3 references. Applicants will be asked to produce a sample highlight film at the interview and show a working knowledge of the Hudl editing system. Please send all information to brandon.lacy@selu.edu . Kentucky: Athletic director Mitch Barnhart has agreed to a contract extension taking him through June 30th, 2022. The extension also includes a salary increase to $840,000 in 2019, $880,000 in 2020 and $925,000 by 2021 as well as an annual retention bonus beginning in 2019. Barnhart will also be eligible for six-figure bonuses starting in 2019. His buyout would be $925k if fired without cause before the end of June 2019, and if he is dismissed after that date he'd be owed $550k.

Illinois State: The staff has shuffled some responsibilities around. Billy Dicken, who coached the wide receivers last year, has been promoted to co-offensive coordinator and will coach the quarterbacks in the fall, offensive line coach Dan Clark has added the title of co-offensive coordinator as well and Kane Keirnan (an offensive assistant previously) will coach the wide receivers. Corey Shandrick, who recently joined the staff, will assist with the wide receivers.
