"I will find you" Arkansas OL coach Kurt Anderson promises the dog owners responsible for killing their family cat (Cash)

From all indications, first-year Arkansas offensive line coach Kurt Anderson and his kids were very, very close to their cat Cash. So you can imagine his emotions when his kids woke up and found Cash killed earlier this week, the victim of an apparent pitbull attack overnight.

For a lot of coaches with families, pets can serve as an anchor of sorts during family moves. Anderson, who was hired earlier this year at Arkansas, has a coaching journey that has taken him from Indiana State, to the University of Michigan, on to Eastern Michigan, the Buffalo Bills, and now to Arkansas so one can only imagine the important role that Cash played for the family.

After learning of Cash's death, and consoling his kids, Anderson fired off the following tweet that ended with a simple promise.

To quote Liam Neeson in Taken, something tells me Anderson "has a very particular set of skills..." Anderson acknowledged that his kids were dealing with the loss pretty rough, but he's using the moment to teach them some bigger life lessons and to advocate for some changes in his neighborhood.

Families that have been through the loss of a family pet are familiar with what coach Anderson and his family are going through, and this particular situation is especially horrific. Please join us in sending thoughts to coach Anderson and his family.
