One of the top FCS head coaches officiated a wedding this weekend immediately following his team's win (Featured)

Jacksonville State head coach John Grass led his #3 ranked team in the nation to a 40-21 win over Tennessee Tech on Saturday, but afterwards, his work day was just getting started.

Grass actually had to cut his post game press conference a bit short to get back out to the field, because he had a wedding to officiate.

Super fans Greg LaFollette and Denise Rooney Thomas got engaged last January at the national championship game, where Grass' Gamecocks fell to North Dakota State, who collected their fifth straight FCS title. According to the Anniston Star, the couple asked Grass to officiate their wedding so the head coach was a good sport and took the necessary steps online to get ordained.

Grass formally married the couple after the game, with the bride proudly wearing a Jax State colored red dress, and noted that he "was more nervous about that than coaching the football game.โ€

Head over to the Anniston Star to see more pics of the ceremony, featuring Grass and the couple on their special day.
