Fort Hays State (D-II - KS): Fort Hays State invites applications for the position of graduate assistant for the football program to begin the Spring Semester 2015. The stipend for a graduate assistant position is $7,000 for a 10 month contract (August through May). The position includes 18 hours per year (9 hours per semester). The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the head coach and offensive/defensive staff with day-to-day operations, practice planning and set-up, film breakdown, equipment, travel, recruiting a territory, coaching a position, and other duties related to the position as assigned by the head coach. All assistantships include some teaching requirement. Graduate assistants are one year renewable contracts that are subject to semester by semester review. Bachelor’s degree from accredited four-year institution required. Florida A&M: The Florida A&M trustees' athletics committee has issued a vote of no confidence in athletics director Kellen Winslow, according to Doug Blackburn of the Tallahassee Democrat.

Michigan State: Peter and Joan Secchia have given a $3 million gift to MSU athletics directed, in part, toward the endowment of the defensive coordinator position currently held by Pat Narduzzi. Narduzzi is set to make over $904,000 this season after getting a raise earlier in the year.
