Tulsa: As expected, tonight's game will Bill Blankenship's final game as head coach. The Golden Hurricane are currently 2-9 with an overtime win over Tulane at Tulsa back in week one and a win over winless SMU. Bruce Feldman reports that he will be dismissed this weekend.

UNLV: Head coach Bobby Hauck has resigned, effective Monday. Their final game is Saturday night against Nevada. He will receive a one-time payment of $400,000 in connection with his exit. Hauck had two years remaining on his contract.

Albany (FCS - NY): Per source, head coach Greg Gattuso has made some changes. We are told that quarterbacks coach Ryan McCarthy and outside linebackers / special teams coordinator Matt Scott will not return. On the offensive side, we hear tight ends coach Gabe Luvara is expected to move to quarterbacks. Will update...

Texas A&M: Defensive coordinator Mark Snyder has been let go. Here's what we're hearing.

UAB: We've chronicled the bizarre plan by UAB administration odd situation at UAB fairly well over the past month or so. The administration still has yet to comment publicly, or privately to the staff is what we hear. This clearly has put Bill Clark in a challenging position. Alums have expressly stated they will put up the money needed to secure Clark, the staff and the program going forward...if the University publicly commits to football, Clark and addresses future scheduling. Thus far, none of that has happened. If UAB beats Southern Miss tomorrow they will be headed to a bowl game. As Doug said earlier this week, now is the time for UAB to step up and do the right thing. At FootballScoop we are hearing the Troy is paying keen attention to this situation. Stay tuned my friends...

Maryland: Maryland has announced the hiring of Damon Evans as associate athletics director/chief financial officer. Evans was Georgia's athletics director from 2004-10.

VMI: Per the Roanoke Times, Tennessee-Chattanooga offensive coordinator Jeff Durden is one of the top choices to fill the head coaching vacancy. Durden served as an assistant at VMI from 1999-2003.

SMU: The news broke late last night. Clemson OC Chad Morris will coach Saturday vs. South Carolina; but then Morris is headed to be the new head coach at SMU.
