It appears Butch Davis has his coordinators at FIU (Featured)

New Florida International head coach Butch Davis has apparently wasted no time in hiring coordinators at his new job.

Over the weekend Alex Marvez of the Sporting News reported Davis will tap Dan Hawkins as his offensive coordinator, and on Monday Marvez added that Brent Guy will be FIU's new defensive coordinator.

Hawkins, of course, is the former head coach at Boise State and Colorado. He has not coached in college football since his 2010 dismissal from CU, with brief stints in the Canadian Football League and with the US national team between then and now.

Guy is formerly the safeties coach at Memphis and claims 30 years experience in college football. Before Memphis, Guy was the defensive coordinator at Tulsa and also owns coordinator experience at Boise State, Arizona State and Louisville and deposited a 4-year stint as the head coach at Utah State.
