Announcing the 2015 FootballScoop Video of the Year contest (Featured)

Tell a friend, because the FootballScoop Video of the Year contest is back again.

A quick refresher: we are inviting videos of all sort to be submitted from every program, college or high school. The competition will be split into three divisions – FBS, college (encompassing everything from FCS to NAIA and junior colleges) and high school. Videos of any sort are accepted and encouraged, recruiting videos, pre-game hype videos, highlight films, behind-the-scenes videos, whatever you've got. Only one video per school will be accepted, though, so give us your best shot.

To give you an idea what we're looking for (and the type of competition you'll be up against), here are last year's winners:

FBS: Colorado

College: East Mississippi Community College

High School: Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas)

This year's submissions are due at the close of business on Monday, July 27. This leaves you a full week to get your videos in. Remember, we'll take any sort of video you've got, but it has to be shot after July of 2014 and we'll accept only one video per school.

The FootballScoop staff will whittle each category down to five-ish (depending on the quality of submissions we receive) finalists per category. We'll announce the finalists on Monday, August 3, and then hand the finalists off to our panel - which is TBD at the moment, but the last two years has included Sports Illustrated's Andy Staples, Bleacher Report's Adam (KegsnEggs) Kramer, SB Nation's Bryan Floyd, and Chris Brown of Smart Football. Winners will be announced Monday, August 10.

In addition to a national platform with which to validate your self-worth and a story to tell your grandkids, this year's winners will receive something even better: FootballScoop polos.

Best of luck, everyone.
