Every coaching staff in America would do just about anything to protect their quarterbacks. Most of the time that means a quick whistle at practice, or perhaps putting them in a different colored jersey to remind defensive players to keep away, and if some coaches had their way they'd put a protective bubble around their signal callers.
This video from Bleacher Report featuring some of the nation's top quarterbacks in the 2018 class from the Elite 11 competition, does just that - puts quarterbacks in one of those protective bubbles, and then has them try to knock the snot out of each other.
The quarterbacks were split into two teams and then faced off in a head-to-head, one-on-one, best of five competition with Florida quarterback Malik Zaire as a guest judge. It's not exactly clear what the judging criteria is, but watching these quarterbacks embrace the "contact" and fun of the competition is really entertaining.
The competition comes down to the last match up, and you'll want to see what happens. Fun idea from the folks over at Bleacher Report. Well done.
