Ole Miss: The University of Mississippi is accepting applications for a Spring 2017 semester internship position that would work with the Football Strength and Conditioning Department. This is an unpaid position that is responsible for assisting the Ole Miss Strength and Conditioning Staff with set up and breakdown of drills and equipment during the off-season program and other departmental functions. This internship program contains an academic portion, which entails multiple readings, as well as a hands on practical portion. Required qualifications include completion or current pursuit of an undergraduate degree in exercise science or a related course of study, a desire to become a strength and conditioning professional, and possess a strong work ethic. Other preferred qualifications include certification from a nationally credited association, previous coaching in a collegiate setting, personal involvement in a collegiate competitive sport, and proficiency in teaching and performing Olympic movements. There is no monetary compensation so if this position is not an economically feasible option for you, please do not apply. Official start date would be January 23, 2017 and end May 5, 2017.
