St. Joseph's University (FCS- PA): Saint Joseph's University Athletics is currently accepting applications for a graduate assistant position in its strength and conditioning program for the Spring of 2017. Under the supervision of the Director of Strength and Conditioning and Head Strength & Conditioning Coach, the successful candidate will design and implement sport-specific strength, speed, and conditioning sessions for assigned sports teams. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: weight room supervision, facility and equipment maintenance, data collection and record keeping, and other duties as assigned. Compensation: This position includes tuition and a stipend of 1000 per month. This position is a 12 month position. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in exercise science or a related field and acceptance into a Saint Joseph's University graduate program. SCCC or CSCS certification. First Aid/CPR/AED certification. Internship experience with a collegiate or professional sports program. Experience coaching or competing in track and field is a plus. Cincinnati: Per source, Ohio State assistant strength and conditioning coach Brady Collins is heading to Cincinnati to be Luke Fickell's director of football sports performance. We also understand that Colorado State strength graduate assistant Mike Stacchiotti has accepted one of the assistant strength coach position on staff.

Old Dominion: Old Dominion University Sports Performance Department is seeking qualified strength and conditioning interns for Summer 2017 working with Olympic Sports teams. The internship will begin May 15th, 2017 and will continue through August 2017. Preferred qualifications: Working towards earning Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in exercise physiology or related field and towards NSCA-CSCS, CSCCA, and/or USAW certifications; Up to date CPR, First aid, and AED certification. One year of experience in strength and conditioning program, previous coaching experience, or current/previous collegiate athlete. As stated above this is an unpaid position but those accepted for the internship will receive practical strength and conditioning experience, coaching education, hours towards undergraduate/graduate internship requirements, and understanding of the fast paced environment of Division I athletics.
