LSU is interviewing former Florida State head strength coach Vic Viloria to join Tommy Moffitt's strength staff, sources told FootballScoop on Tuesday.
While any hiring is not complete, we understand there is a strong possibility Viloria comes aboard.
Viloria spent the past eight seasons at Florida State, where he helped Jimbo Fisher mold a program that claimed multiple ACC titles and a national championship in 2013. He remained with the Seminoles through the 2017 season, but was not brought to Texas A&M with Fisher and was not retained by new 'Noles head coach Willie Taggart.
A Lousiana native, Viloria previously served in an interim role at LSU before becoming the head strength coach at SMU in 2007. Viloria played college football for the Mustangs.
Viloria played high school football at powerhouse John Curtis Christian High School in the New Orleans area.
