Scott Stricklin was named Florida's athletics director on Sept. 27. It's now Oct. 25. So nearly a month has passed.
Rather than simply allowing his maroon sunset to become an orange and blue sunrise without a moment of passing in between, Stricklin took time to pen a farewell letter to Mississippi State.
It's an incredibly classy and thoughtful gesture, which is consistent with Stricklin's character.
