Shepherd University (D-II - WV): Monte Cater announced today he will retire at the end of this Spring term. The winningest active NCAA head coach, Cater amassed 274 wins in his head coaching career. In 31 seasons at Shepherd he went 245-93-1. Cater garnered Vince Lombardi Foundation Coach of the Year honors in 2016. Offensive coordinator Ernie McCook will take over as head coach. We understand Shepherd already has a plan to fill all positions on staff and has no openings at this time.
Georgia: Memphis defensive grad assistant Brian Michalowski is joining the Georgia staff as defensive quality control sources tell FootballScoop. Prior to joining the Memphis staff, Michalowski served as defensive coordinator at Garden City CC (KS).
Penn State: Ja'Juan Seider is joining Penn State's staff reports Anthony Becht.
LSU: LSU has now announced the hire of Kevin Faulk as director of player development. Faulk has served as an assistant at his alma mater Carencro HS (LA) since retiring from the league.
Humboldt State (D-II - CA): Rob Smith has officially resigned as Head Coach. Smith’s 27 year career includes a record of 172-106 at Western Washington and the last 10 years at Humboldt.
Southeastern Louisiana (FCS): Source tells FootballScoop, Nicholls State head coach Tim Rebowe is expected to get a new deal done at Nicholls in connection with his candidacy for the head coaching position at Southeastern. Expect Rebowe to remain at Nicholls.
Hugh Freeze: Forgiveness was the word of the day as Hugh Freeze made his first public comments since his Ole Miss exit in a visit to Liberty University.
Cincinnati: The program has now formally announced the addition of Steve Stripling as defensive line coach.
Brian Callahan: The former Lions quarterbacks coach has interviews scheduled with the Jets and Titans, per Jordan Raanan. The Titans opportunity also includes the offensive coordinator role, and Raanan notes to not "rule him out" with the Giants either.
Utah State: Keith Patterson is expected to be named defensive coordinator and safeties coach, per multiple reports. Patterson joined the Memphis staff coaching the linebackers about a month ago, and prior to that was the defensive coordinator at Arizona State for four seasons.
Texas A&M: A look at Texas A&M's staff. Jimbo has one assistant coach position to fill and additional key off the field hires to come as well.
Seattle Seahawks: Alex Marvez tweets that Dwaine Board is no longer on staff as assistant defensive line coach.
Colorado State: Daniel Bush, who most recently served as the director of player personnel and assistant director of recruiting at Arkansas, has been named director of player personnel on Mike Bobo's staff. Before joining the Razorbacks, Bush worked in football operations and as a recruiting specialist at Alabama for a few seasons.
Cincinnati: Director of recruiting Brian Mason has been promoted to the on-the-field staff. He will handle special teams as the program's 10th assistant.
Ohio: Former player Tremayne Scott has joined the coaching staff and will coach the defensive tackles. Scott spent the last two seasons coaching the defensive line at Carthage College (D-III - WI).
James Madison (FCS - VA): Head coach Mike Houston has announced the addition of Steve Shankweiler as offensive line coach. Shankweiler has spent 35 years at the Division I level, and has two decades of offensive coordinator experience as well. Shankweiler most recently worked as a defensive analyst at NC State, and before that was the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at FIU.
BYU: During a roundtable discussion today, athletic director Tom Holmoe was asked if he ever considered relieving head coach Kalani Sitake of his duties, to which he responded with an "emphatic 'No,'" according to a tweet from Jay Drew. Drew also points out that Ty Detmer, who served as offensive coordinator last year before being let go this off season, is still under contract with the athletic department, but is not part of the football program.
Luther (D-III - IA): Per source, Tabor (NAIA - KS) offensive coordinator Billy Hickman has accepted the offensive coordinator job at Luther.
LA Rams: The Rams have hired former UCLA offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch as a senior offensive assistant, the organization has announced.
Albany (FCS - NY): Fordham (FCS - NY) co-offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Joe Davis is joining the Albany staff in the same role, sources tell FootballScoop. We understand that Davis had a number of other FCS opportunities as well. Coach Davis previously served as offensive coordinator at Shippensburg (D-II - PA), Wheaton (D-III - IL), North Park (D-III - Chicago, IL), and also helped led Northern Iowa (FCS) to the FCS quarterfinals as offensive coordinator in 2015.
Tennessee Titans: Ohio State defensive backs coach Kerry Coombs will join Mike Vrabel's staff, according to Pete Thamel of Yahoo.
Oklahoma: Shane Beamer will earn a $435,000 salary on a 2-year contract, which was approved by the university today.
Penn State: Source tells FootballScoop Florida assistant Ja'Juan Seider is a candidate for the open position at Penn State. Seider, who coached running backs for Jim McElwain, was asked to move to tight ends by Dan Mullen. From 2010-2106 Seider coached running backs at West Virginia and Marshall.
Arizona: Former UA linebacker and longtime coach Ricky Hunley isn't being considered as part of Kevin Sumlin's staff, per a tweet from Greg Hansen.
Arizona Cardinals: Panthers linebackers coach Al Holcomb is interviewing for the defensive coordinator job today, and Panthers offensive line coach Ray Brown is in Phoenix today as well, Joe Person tweets.
Memphis: Southern Miss wide receivers coach Desmond Lindsey is leaving for the same job with Memphis, per a tweet from Pat Forde.
Toledo: Ricky Ciccone has been promoted from director of high school relations to nickels coach for Toledo's 10th assistant position, per source. We understand Ciccone will still be in charge of their recruiting efforts.
Arkansas-Monticello (D-II): Per source, Brandon Bailey, the co-defensive coordinator at Richmond Hills HS (GA) has been hired as defensive backs coach. Bailey has previous experience on staffs at Georgia Southern and Tulane.
New York Giants: Former Broncos wide receiver Tyke Tolbert will be the new wide receivers coach for the Giants, per Mike Klis.
Cleveland Browns: The Browns have formally introduced Todd Haley as offensive coordinator, Amos Jones as special teams coordinator, and former Cardinals running backs coach Freddie Kitchens as running backs coach / associate head coach.

Arizona Cardinals: Ray Brown, a former player with the 49ers, has joined the staff as an assistant coach, per a tweet from Matt Maiocco.
Kansas State: Wide receivers coach Andre Coleman has been promoted to offensive coordinator, offensive line coach Charlie Dickey has been named co-offensive coordinator in charge of the run game and quarterbacks coach Collin Klein has been bumped to co-offensive coordinator in charge of the passing game.
Arizona: Source tells FootballScoop director of football operations Billy Kirelawich is not being retained by Kevin Sumlin. Kirelawich had been at Arizona since the 2012 season. Sources tell FootballScoop Sumlin is expected to bring Texas A&M associate director for football Dennis Polian to Arizona in a similar capacity.

Green Bay Packers: The Packers have announced their coaching staff and titles, many of which we've previously reported. Jerry Montgomery has decided to stay with the organization as defensive line coach instead of joining Jimbo Fisher's staff at Texas A&M - more on that here. The rest of the staff is as follows; Joe Philbin (OC), Mike Pettine (DC), James Campen (run game coordinator / OL), Jim Hostler (pass game coordinator), Patrick Graham (inside linebackers / run game coordinator), Joe Whitt Jr. (defensive pass game coordinator), Frank Cignetti Jr. (QBs), Ryan Downard (defensive quality control), Maurice Drayton (assistant special teams), Scott McCurley (defensive assistant), Jerry Montgomery (DL), David Raigh (WRs), and Jason Simmons (secondary). Ron Zook remains on as special teams coordinator, with Maurice Drayton as assistant special teams coordinator.
Arizona Cardinals: The organization is looking at Don Johnson for their defensive line job, per Alex Marvez. Johnson previously coached the defensive line for the Chargers from 2009-2015 and spent the past two seasons out of coaching. Also, Mike Jurecki tweets that the Cardinals have denied permission to the Seahawks to interview Cards assistant wide receivers coach Kevin Garver.
New York Giants: The Giants are making former Cardinals defensive coordinator James Bettcher their new defensive coordinator, per a tweet from Ian Rapoport.
Arizona Cardinals: Dave Merritt, who has coached with the Giants since 2004 most recently working with the safeties, is returning to Arizona (where he played in the early to mid-90's) to become secondary coach, Adam Schefter tweets.
Heidelberg (D-III - OH): Morehead State (FCS - KY) wide receivers coach Tom Coughlin is joining the Heidelberg staff as quarterbacks coach, per source. Coughlin previously served as the wide receivers coach at Ithaca (D-III - NY), and as a player was part of two D-III national championship teams at UW-Whitewater.
Maryland: Wide receivers coach Chris Beatty has added the title of co-offensive coordinator and linebackers coach Matt Barnes has added special teams coordinator duties.
Pitt: Sources tell FootballScoop that offensive line coach John Peterson will not return. Peterson recently wrapped up his third season coaching the offensive line at Pitt. Prior to joining Pat Narduzzi's staff, Peterson was the assistant head coach and offensive line coach at Akron, and also spent eight seasons at Ohio State.
Marshall: Sources tell FootballScoop that Sam Houston State (FCS - TX) offensive coordinator Tim Cramsey is expected to be the new offensive coordinator at Marshall, pending final clearances. The Huntington Herald-Dispatch has reported the same.
Louisiana Monroe: Per source, Nicholls State (FCS - LA) defensive line coach Anthony Camp is joining the ULM staff as defensive line coach.
Prague Lions (Europe): The Prague Lions, the first American Football team in the Czech Republic, are looking for a head coach / defensive coordinator to come help them get back to the Czech Bowl. The Lions play in the top division in Czech, CLAF. The Lions are looking for one of two types of coaches, 1) a young guy full of energy that is in a GA position and looking for experience or 2) an older guy that is looking for a new experience outside the States and still has a lot to give a young, hungry team. Widener (D-III - PA): Dan Connor has joined the staff as defensive coordinator. Connor graduated from Penn State as the all-time leading tackler before going on to a six-year NFL career with the Panthers, Cowboys and Giants. Connor served as the head coach and defensive coordinator at Archbishop Carroll HS (Radnor, PA) the past two seasons and completed an NFL Scouting Fellowship with the Titans during their training camp last year.
Minnesota Vikings: The Vikings will speak with former Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell about their vacant offensive coordinator job later this week, Jason La Canfora tweets.
