Tennessee: Phillip Fulmer has offered the job to Alabama defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt per reports from both Jimmy Hyams and Chris Low. More here on the expected hire.

Lenoir-Rhyne (D-II - NC): Per source, Furman offensive coordinator Drew Cronic will be the new head coach at Lenoir-Rhyne.

UTEP: Sources tell FootballScoop UTEP has their new head coach. We have been hearing yesterday and today it is expected to be Dana Dimel, OC at Kansas State. Will update. Update>The University has now announced the hire!

Arkansas: SMU offensive line coach Dustin Fry will join Chad Morris' Razorbacks staff, per a tweet from Billy Embody.

Offensive Coordinator of the Year: Josh Heupel (Missouri) has been selected by previous winners as the 2017 FootballScoop Offensive Coordinator of the Year presented by AstroTurf.

Arkansas: Chad Morris has now officially been named head coach. His contract is six years at $3.5 million per year (they add "he will be eligible for additional compensation through retention payments and incentives"). His buyout should he leave Fayetteville starts at $14.7 million through the end of next year and then works down to $12.25 million, $9.8 million, $7.35 million, $4.9 million and finally $3.5 million .Morris will be introduced tomorrow.

Florida State: Willie Taggart's deal at FSU is worth $30 million over six years. If he leaves FSU, he would owe the university $5 million or the balance of his compensation due (whichever is lower). If he were to be fired without cause, he would be due 85% of remaining compensation due, subject to mitigation from future employment tweets Steve Berkowitz of USA Today.

Rice: The Owls have made it official, Mike Bloomgren is their new head coach.

Arkansas: Sources tell FootballScoop SMU offensive coordinator Joe Craddock will join Chad Morris at Arkansas in the same capacity. Craddock spent three seasons with Morris at Clemson before following him to SMU. Craddock, 32, played quarterback at Middle Tennessee.

SMU: Associate head coach and running backs coach Jeff Traylor will serve as interim head coach according to multiple reports.

Montana (FCS): Sources tell us that Timm Rosenbach, who just resigned as the head coach at Adams State (D-II - CO), is heading to Montana as offensive coordinator.

Colorado: Co-offensive coordinator Darrin Chiaverini will call the plays going forward.

Endicott College (D-III - MA): Endicott has named Paul McGonagle as its new head coach. He was most recently the associate head coach and offensive coordinator at Assumption College.

Davenport (D-II - MI):Davenport University, located in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a week 1 home game either Thursday August 30 or Saturday September 1. Davenport, who just played in its second year of competition, will be entering its second season being an NCAA affiliate in the GLIAC conference. RPI (D-III - NY): RPI is looking to fill open dates in 2020 (Week 1: 9/5, Week 2: 9/12 and Week 4: 9/26) and 2021 (Week 1: 9/4 and Week 2: 9/11). The Week 4 game in 2020 may be a one-off or reciprocated in 2023. Open to all options, home/away, regional, distance, D3 or FCS. Pittsburgh: Pat Narduzzi has signed a new 7-year contract, lasting through "at least" the 2024 season. Terms were not disclosed. Narduzzi is 21-17 in three seasons at Pitt.

Adams State (D-II - CO): Head coach Timm Rosenbach has resigned from the head coaching position. Rosenbach previously served as offensive coordinator at Montana (FCS) and UNLV, and Hauck is back at Montana for his second stint as head coach, leading many to believe Rosenbach may be headed back to Montana again as well. Offensive coordinator Josh Blankenship will succeed Rosenbach as the new head coach of the program, the school announced.

South Carolina: Kurt Roper has been relieved of duties as South Carolina's offensive coordinator, the program has announced. Co-offensive coordinator/wide receivers coach Bryan McClendon will call plays for the Gamecocks' Outback Bowl appearance against Michigan.

Arkansas: Sources tell FootballScoop that Chad Morris has agreed to become the next head coach of the Razorbacks.

Tennessee: As FootballScoop reported yesterday, Mel Tucker and Kevin Steele remain candidates for the Tennessee job. This morning, Bruce Feldman and Chris Low have tweeted that Jeremy Pruitt is still in the mix as well. Stay tuned.

Lyon (NAIA - AR): Casey Creehan, who spent the past two seasons with the Edmonton Eskimos (CFL) coaching the defensive line, has been selected to lead the program.

Simon Fraser (D-II - Canada): Simon Fraser University, a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II institution is now accepting applicants for a head football coach. Under the general supervision of the Associate Director, Athletics and ultimately responsible to the Senior Director Athletics and Recreation, the head coach will be highly motivated, display effective and positive leadership, and will have superior supervision skills in directing and maintaining a successful and competitive football program at Simon Fraser University. Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred. South Carolina:Dan Wolken tweets that South Carolina will soon announce staff changes, and offensive coordinator Kurt Roper is not expected to be retained.

Coe (D-III - IA): Coe College, a member of the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) is accepting qualified applications for the position of Assistant Football Coach (Offensive Coordinator). This individual will assist the Head Coach in all phases of a NCAA Division III Football Program. Playing or coaching experience at the collegiate level is required. Strong consideration will be given to candidates with D-III experience.
