Iowa: Kirk Ferentz added another $500,000 bonus tonight by beating Boston College, thus achieving his 8th win on the season.

LSU: Matt Canada is not expected to be retained following LSU's bowl game reports Ross Dellenger. This has been a long time coming per our sources with issues from the start. LSU officials supported Canada's search for other opportunities this month; but Canada thus far has not found any suitors. Dellenger adds LSU officials have been in communication with Canada's representatives about a reduced buyout. Steve Ensminger, currently on staff, is mentioned by Dellenger as a possible replacement and our sources confirm the same. Sources expand to say LSU expects to bring in a fresh face on the offensive side of the ball regardless of whether Ensminger is promoted or not. Stay tuned....

BYU: Head coach Kalani Sitake has now tweeted confirming our report Ryan Pugh was coming. He also confirmed, as we noted earlier today that Aaron Roderick will be part of the offensive staff.

Florida State: In response to Willie Taggart's reported interest, sources tell FootballScoop Jim Leonhard is not expected to leave Wisconsin. However, if Willie can land the other guy...

BYU: UTSA offensive line coach Ryan Pugh is headed to BYU in the same capacity source tells FootballScoop. Pugh previously served as new BYU offensive coordinator Jeff Grimes' assistant at LSU. Pugh leaving marks at least the 5th assistant Frank Wilson will need to replace at UTSA.

UTSA: After considering a number of external candidates, Frank Wilson has promoted co-defensive coordinator Jason Rollins to defensive coordinator. Rollins, known as a talented recruiter, has never before served as a defensive coordinator but did serve as Lionel Washington's co-DC at Tulane and as co-DC at McNeese State earlier in his career.

SMU: Whisper in the profession is Sonny Dykes is building a nice staff. Hear the entire thing could be in place in days. Will update...

BYU: As we mentioned was likely a week or two ago, and then again earlier today...sounds like Fesi Sitake has now officially accepted a role on the staff at BYU. More changes coming at BYU. Stay tuned....

Arkansas-Pine Bluff (FCS): Alcorn State defensive coordinator Cedric Thomas has now officially been named head coach at UAPB.

Hawaii: Source tells FootballScoop linebackers coach Sean Duggan will not return. Sounds as if a new defensive scheme is coming to town and room is being made for new DC to hire his staff.

BYU: Running backs coachReno Mahe has announced that he has left the staff. We have been hearing for days that a number of staff changes are coming soon. Presumably more will be out today as well. Have been hearing Aaron Roderick and Fesi Sitake are strong candidates to join the staff. Will update...

Georgia Tech: App State defensive coordinator Nate Woody is "in line" to become defensive coordinator at Georgia Tech reports Ken Sugiura who covers Georgia Tech for the AJC. Woody was the only name we heard in connection with this role, with the chatter building steadily over the past week or so.

College to NFL: Two votes for Chris Petersen, two for David Shaw, one for one of the young guysNFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah asked 5 NFL personnel execs which college head coaches they believe would make the best NFL head coach. (Jeremiah notes no votes for Urban, Saban, Dabo...or Harbaugh).

Kent State: Bowling Green corners coach Mike Mickens (DBs), South Dakota (FCS) wide receivers coach Matthew Middleton (WRs), and Winona State (D-II - MN) co-defensive coordinator / defensive line coach Zac Barton (STC) are all expected to join Sean Lewis' staff, per a tweet from Bruce Feldman.

Louisiana-Lafayette: Patrick Toney has officially been announced as safeties coach. Toney spent last season coaching the defensive backs at UTSA and has also coached the secondary at Southeastern Louisiana and Sam Houston State.

Florida State: Willie Taggart reportedly has a pair of names in mind to join his defensive staff that would shake up the industry.

Notre Dame: Brian Kelly notes that he expects to return his entire staff, including defensive coordinator Mike Elko who was rumored to be high on Jimbo Fisher's wish list as defensive coordinator at Texas A&M, according to a report from 247.

Kansas State: After asking reporters if they'd put out word that the 35-17 win over UCLA may have been Bill Snyder's last game leading the Wildcats, Snyder replied, "That hasn't been decided yet," according to ESPN.

Black Hills State (D-II - SD):Black Hills State has a graduate assistant coaching position beginning June 1st, 2018. The position includes an $8000 stipend, camp bonus, reduced tuition and possible meals. Responsibilities include coaching wide receivers, running positional meetings, assisting with special teams, helping with weekly game plan, film breakdown and data entry (HUDL), recruiting, and other duties assigned by the Head Football Coach and Athletic Director. The ideal candidate would have a minimum 1 year coaching experience or collegiate playing experience. Virginia Universiy of Lynchburg (NCCAA): Bobby Rome II, a former fullback at UNC, has accepted the head coaching job and we understand that former San Francisco 49er Kentwan Balmer is also joining the staff as assistant head coach.

East Coast Prep (Postgrad - MA): East Coast Prep postgraduate is seeking 4 assistant coaches for the 2018 season. You will coach your own position and have off field duties as assigned by the head coach.This is a 4 month position, August to December. Position includes room and board and a stipend. Stipend based on experience!We are looking for College experience!! Interviews will be conducted at the convention in Charlotte.
