Hue Jackson: The former Raiders and Browns head coach wants a crack at being an NFL head coach for a third time.

Bob Stoops: The former Oklahoma coach's autobiography - "No Excuses: The Making of a Head Coach" - is set to hit shelves this fall.

Finlandia (D-III - MI): Finlandia University has two open coaching positions: linebackers and running backs. These are restricted earning positions that will be for 4-months. Candidates should have 3 years of coaching or playing experience and knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Should also possess a strong work ethic and strong communication skills. Positions will be responsible for coaching a position, running meetings, assist in game planning, assist in film and breakdown (HUDL), assist in recruiting efforts and any other duties assigned from the Head Coach or coordinator. Youth Sports Specialization: The NBA is an incredibly healthy league, except for one crucial aspect: more young players are losing games to injury than ever, and experts agree it's because they're specializing too early.

Albright College (D-III - PA): Albright College is accepting applications for an offensive intern football coach. Looking for the best available candidate; but preference is given to applicants with WR coaching and/or playing experience. Bridgewater College (D-III - VA): Bridgewater College of Virginia is looking to fill open date in Week 2 (Sept. 12) of 2020 season. Would like home game if possible in 2020 with return game in 2021. If interested contact HFC Michael Clark mclark@bridgewater.edu.

Morgan State (FCS - MD): Former Central State defensive backs and strength coach Derrell Poland has accepted the defensive backs job at Morgan State, his alma mater.

Kentucky Christian (NAIA – KY): Kentucky Christian University has immediate opening for a restricted earnings offensive skill coach wide receiver and quarterback candidates will both be considered . Applicants must have strong Christian Faith and work within Kentucky Christian University’s Christian mission. New hires will have their own recruiting areas and will be responsible for coaching and managing their own position, including meetings. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, film breakdown, data entry, assisting with special teams, recruiting, running position meetings, assisting with game preparation, and any other duties assigned by the head football coach. Edinboro (D-II - PA): Shanin Bennefield has joined the staff as wide receivers coach, a source tells FootballScoop. Bennefield comes aboard from Albright College.

Carson-Newman (D-II - TN): Former Limestone College head coach Tony Ierulli has re-joined Carson-Newman University staff. Ierulli coached for the Eagles from 2012-2017. Also, Limestone’s defensive end coach Coy DeWeese, will return to Carson-Newman and will coach the defensive ends. DeWeese graduated from Carson-Newman.

New Mexico State: AD Mario Moccia has signed a 5-year extension keeping him in Las Cruces through 2023-24. His base salary will be $280,000 per year.

Northwestern: Deneé Barracato has been hired as deputy AD for operations and capital projects. Barracato was previously the AD at York College in New York.

Judson (NAIA - IL): Judson University is seeking a part-time coach working with the offensive line. Coordinating experience preferred, but not required. Preference will be given to local candidates. Langston (NAIA - OK): Langston University is currently seeking an offensive graduate assistant football coach. The position includes a stipend, housing, and tuition assistance for graduate school. Coaching responsibilities to include; but not limited to, Tightends’ and H Backs. Responsibilities include all aspects of the football program including; but not limited to, video editing, social media, practice organization, contest preparation, recruitment weekends, student athlete development, and other duties assigned by the Head Football Coach. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Macalester (D-III - St. Paul, MN): Macalester College is accepting applications for a full-time coaching intern. This is a 1-2 year position, starting on August 1st with pay of $20,000. No additional benefits provided. College coaching or playing experience is required. Responsibilities include coaching your own position, recruiting you own territories, and administrative assignments as determined by the head coach. Juniata (D-III - PA): Juniata College invites applications for a 10 month, intern level, Assistant Football Coach. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; on field coaching and instruction, the recruitment of qualified student-athletes, scouting and game preparation, academic monitoring, and the administration and organization of camps and clinics. Collateral responsibilities in support of the Athletic Department will be assigned. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, a valid driver’s license, and playing experience/coaching experience at the collegiate level. Preference will be given to applicants with experience coaching or playing a defensive position at the college level and recruiting experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to successfully recruit high quality student-athletes in a rigorous academic environment is a must. Experience with Hudl digital editing system is a plus. This is a 10 month position that includes a monthly stipend, room, board, and full benefits. Review of applications will begin immediately, with an expected start date of August 1, 2019. Avila (NAIA - MO): Avila University located in Kansas City, MO is looking for a linebackers or secondary coach (best possible candidate).
