Tennessee Titans: The Titans have given general manager Jon Robinson an executive vice president title.

Southern Miss: East Tennessee State offensive line coach Erik Losey will be the new offensive line coach at Southern Miss sources tell FootballScoop.

Bluefield College (NAIA - VA): Webber International offensive coordinator Dewey Lusk has now formally been announced as the new head coach at Bluefield. The former head coach at UVA - Wise served as OC at Webber just this past season.

New Orleans Saints: The Saints have fired assistants Joe Vitt (LBs), Bill Johnson (DL), Greg McMahon (STC), Stan Kwan (asst ST) and James Willis (LBs) according to Alex Marvez.

South Florida: After being widely reported, Sterlin Gilbert's addition as offensive coordinator on Charlie Strong's staff at USF is now official.

Minnesota: Former LSU head coach Les Miles "flew to the Twin Cities Wednesday and is meeting with University of Minnesota officials," Michael Kim of 120 Sports reports.

Mike McCoy: Former Chargers head coach Mike McCoy "has multiple options he's mulling for other coaching jobs," according to Alex Marvez, who adds that he's looking for the right fit for him and his family.

Wade Phillips: PFT notes that Wade Phillips could land with the Redskins as their defensive coordinator, and Alex Marvez adds that a return to the Broncos as defensive coordinator in 2017 is "unlikely."

San Jose State: Texas assistant wide receivers coach Andrew Sowder is expected to be the new offensive coordinator / tight ends coach according to Bruce Feldman.

Oregon State: Jason Phillips will join the staff as wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator and John Rushing will come aboard as safeties coach, the program has announced. Phillips coached the wide receivers at Kansas last season, and the two seasons prior to that as the co-offensive coordinator at SMU last season while Rushing spent 2016 with the Los Angeles Rams as a special teams and defensive consultant following seven years with the Green Bay Packers.

Temple: Geoff Collins has formally announced the hiring of offensive coordinator Dave Patenaude, defensive line coach Jim Panagos and assistant strength coaches Ryan Horton and Jordan Barber. 

New Research: Ferris State’s Power Read/Jet Read Concepts – Ferris State University continued their offensive prominence this season setting a school record 51 rushing TD’s and 7,190 yards of total offense, including 254 yards on the ground per game. Much of this success has been attributed to their 10/11 personnel power read and jet read concepts. Eastern New Mexico (D-II): Offensive coordinator Kelley Lee has been promoted to head coach. He takes over for Josh Lynn who left to become the head coach at Nebraska-Kearney (D-II).

Alvernia (D-III - PA): Ralph Clark, who has nearly two decades of college coaching experience, has been named head coach at Alvernia. Clark previously served as the defensive coordinator at Seton Hill, Millersville, and St. Francis. Alvernia will begin their football program in fall of 2018.

Fullerton College (JC - CA): Fullerton College’s Division of Physical Education is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Physical Education instructor / ssistant football coach. This is a unique opportunity for a highly sought tenured-track football coaching position at one of the premiere football programs in the California Community Colleges. The committee seeks highly qualified candidates with college and/or professional experience to coach on either offense or defense, depending on need. Organizational and leadership skills consistent with coordinating offensive and/or defensive schemes are desired. In addition to coaching, the job description also requires the applicant to teach a variety of physical education activity and lecture courses, monitor the academic progress of student-athletes, perform fundraising activities, and develop strong recruiting strategies. The candidate must possess knowledge of CCCAA constitution, NCAA, and NAIA transfer guidelines. The annual salary schedule runs between $80,000 to $94,000 but with the additional coaching stipend could approach $100,000, depending on initial salary placement. The position includes generous health benefit and retirement plans. Minimum FSA qualifications require a Master’s in physical education, exercise science, education with an emphasis in physical education, kinesiology, physiology of exercise, or adaptive physical education; OR Bachelor’s in any of the above AND master’s in any life science, dance, physiology, health education, recreation administration, or physical therapy; OR The equivalent (See District application for details). Oregon: Running backs coach Donte Pimpleton has a two-year deal worth $195,000 annually, per Andrew Greif.

Pace (D-II - NY): Pace University has an immediate opening for a graduate assistant position. Position allows for 18 credits / year, housing, books and a small stipend for meals. Position will coach an offensive skill position - running backs or wide receivers. Position is intended to recruit a primary area in person. Position will have additional responsibilities within the football program in addition to coaching and recruiting. The responsibilities and value of this position is very much that of a “full time” position. Applicants should have experience playing college football (preferably on the offensive side). Applicants should have a previous coaching experience (2 years or more of college coaching is preferred). This position will begin in January. Applicants will have to apply and be admitted to one of multiple graduate programs available at Pace University, Pleasantville, NY. Applicants will have their undergraduate degree, a valid driver’s license and a clean background. New York Jets: The Eagles have denied the Jets permission to interview quarterbacks coach John DeFilippo for their offensive coordinator job, Adam Schefter reports.

Rutgers: Lester Erb has now been formally announced as the new running backs coach.

Washington Redskins: The Redskins have fired the entire defensive staff, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS SportsUpdate: The Redskins have announced Joe Barry, Robb Akey, Mike Clark and Perry Fewell will not return. Linebackers coaches Greg Manusky and Kirk Olivadotti remain on staff.

ESPN: Dino Babers, P.J. Fleck, Mark Helfrich, Mike MacIntyre and Matt Rhule will be the coaches in ESPNews's "Coaches Film Room" championship coverage on Monday night. Bill Walton will also be on ESPNU. Full details here.

ESPN: Chris Berman will step down as host of ESPN's Sunday and Monday NFL preview shows, its NFL Draft coverage and the MLB Home Run Derby, reports John Ourand of Sports Business Journal. An original ESPNer, Ourand notes Berman, 61, has signed a new contract that will keep him with the Worldwide Leader in a reduced role.

UCLA: The Bruins have now formally introduced the addition of Jedd Fisch as offensive coordinator.

San Francisco 49ers: The Niners will head to Seattle "early next week" to interview offensive line coach / assistant head coach Tom Cable for the head coaching job, and Seahawks co-directors of player personnel Scott Fitterer and Trent Kirchner for the GM job, according to Matt Maiocco.

Northwestern Oklahoma State (D-II): Per source, Ken Gordon, who spent last season as the defensive coordinator at Nebraska-Kearney (D-II), is joining the staff as defensive coordinator. Gordon previously served as the defensive backs coach / special teams coordinator at Northwest Missouri State (D-II), as well as the defensive coordinator at Emporia State (D-II - KS) and Minnesota Mankato (D-II).

Kentucky Christian (NAIA): Sources tell FootballScoop head coach Steve Barrows is stepping down. Prior to serving as head coach at Kentucky Christian the past two seasons, Barrows previously served as defensive coordinator at McKendree, Hardin-Simmons, Indiana State, etc... As well as serving as offensive coordinator at College of Mount St. Joseph, Bethany College, etc...

Northwestern: Head coach Pat Fitzgerald tells the Chicago Tribune that he "absolutely" expects to have his entire staff return for next season. If everyone comes back, it will mark the seventh straight season Fitz has gone without any staff turnover. Dating back to 2008, Fitz's Northwestern staff has lost just one assistant coach.

Buffalo Bills: Interim head coach and offensive coordinator Anthony Lynn is interviewing today for the head coaching job, per Ian Rapoport.

LA Rams: Redskins offensive coordinator Sean McVay, and Cardinals offensive coordinator Harold Goodwin will interview for the head coaching job today, per Ian Rapoport.

Minnesota: The Gophers reached out to Penn State offensive coordinator Joe Moorhead about their head coaching job, but Moorhead told them that he's not interested according to the Associate Press.

Baltimore Ravens: Assistant offensive line coach Todd Washington and director of strength and conditioning Bob Rogucki have been let go, per Adam Caplan.

Minnesota: Sources tell FootballScoop Minnesota has met with PJ Fleck. We also have been told that Minnesota has reached out to Navy head coach Ken Niumatalolo. This would be the second time Minnesota has reached out to Ken, in fact, it is our understanding Minnesota previously offered Niumatalolo the head job a few years back (when Jerry Kill was hired). Will update as more is clear...

Minnesota: According to Joe Schmit of KSTP, Gophers athletic director Mark Coyle and President Eric Kaler met with PJ Fleck yesterday in Chicago. Schmit adds "Nothing official yet..."

Cincinnati: Per source, former Virginia defensive coordinator Jon Tenuta is joining Luke Fickell's staff at Cincinnati. Tenuta has served as the defensive coordinator at Marshall, Kansas State, SMU, Ohio State, UNC, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, and NC State.

NC State: NC State University has an immediate opening for a offensive graduate assistant position. Applicant must have playing or coaching experience on the offensive line. Prefer candidates with HS Coaching or GA experience. Must comply with NCAA rules in bowl subdivision football: a graduate assistant coach is any coach who has received a baccalaureate degree or has exhausted athletics eligibility (whichever occurs later) within the previous seven (7) years. Applicant must also gain acceptance to grad school and have a minimum of a 3.0 undergraduate GPA. Itasca (JC - MN): Itasca Community College is actively seeking applicants for 2-3 defensive/special teams coaching positions including the Defensive Coordinator position. Primary responsibilities include assisting the head coach with recruiting, position coaching, social media-marketing, film analysis, game planning, strength and conditioning, study hall, equipment management and other duties assigned by the head coach. Compensation includes a stipend, possibly a part-time job and housing. There also may be opportunities to work on campus in the student services area and assist with coaching other sports depending on qualifications. Athletic taping/training experience is a plus.
